Ercol Furniture Book
Always been fascinated by Ercol furniture and wanted to know more about it and it's background. I found it interesting. Book is quite big and heavy hard back.

Ercol furniture book
An interesting account of the Ercol company including copious photographs of the various pieces. Majors on the lighter furniture rather than the dark (old colonial etc) items. Includes listings but far from comprehensive, and does tend to skit around a bit. It is therefore history and not a catalogue. Soft back and well produced if you are interested in historical background of english furniture or companies this is well worth a read.

Beautiful inside and out
An over-size softback which has been beautifully designed, and is a pleasure to scan.As the owner of quite a few Ercol pieces, several of their historical catalogues, and Lucian Ercolani's biography, I feel that this is a worthwhile addition to my library.Only four stars though as the book lacks an index - a pity - and has a glaring misuse of the word"complimentary" (in text describing picture on page 137) when "complementary" was meant.

Once Made in England ......
Long awaited tome on a very British iconic furniture manufacturer. What was once every day and graced many a home has now become ' mid 20th century' collectable . Rediscovered or now just better appreciated in the flat pack world that dominates most domestic furniture these days. A wonderful book about design, skilled workers , appreciative owners and real wood. And , still around having adapted to the 21st Century.

A fantastic history of a woodworking firm I have long admired
It was such a treat to open the pages of this book. As a woodworker myself, Ercol has long held a position of high respect from me, for the quality of it's products and ideals. To discover what made the company what it is today was well worth the money. Long live this great British firm

Just what I wanted
I love Ercol and this is about Ercol with lots on the various designs (concentrating on Windsor but that's my preferred design). A great deal about the factory and evolution of the company too. An Ercol bible for Ercol lovers.
