Tempesta Salsiccia Secca Piccante spicy dry sausage (9 Ounce (Pack of 1))

This is a great salumi to snack on or for a charcuterie board. It does need to have the thin casing removed. It has a softer texture than other salumi and mostly tasty meat, with very little gristle. The quality of this sausage is a step above most and they charge accordingly.

I was a little disappointed that it was absolutely not looking like I was expecting. To me it looks more like 2 chorizos with NDUJA spices than what you expect ordering NDUJa. Not spreadable or anything like That, as said just a salami to slice. The taste is good but sill not sold on it.

I realize that taste is completely subjective, but... This sausage smelled awful as soon as I opened the package. I know it is not a case of the vacuum bag being punctured as there was no air in the bag. I then tasted the sausage and it was almost as bad as the smell. Since other people have given it a positive review, maybe this batch had gone back. If that is the case, but then it should not have been sold. Sorry, but something was definitely wrong!

This was a very tasty dry chorizo sausage, very similar to Goya but maybe higher quality. I was expecting a true ndujia style which would soften with cooking and break down into the dish. It was nice, arrived in good condition albeit a bit slow and just not what I expected.

Appetizers , omelets with goat cheese!

This is spicy sausage that has the right amounts of pepper and spices. I loved it so much, it lasted about a day. Now, I have to order some more.

My NONNO made his own and this is close, a bit thinner but overall good flavor a great way to remember better days.
