ALRIGHT, so here’s the 411 on this product. I bought this so i could have the box. like literally that’s all i bought this product for. The sponges do have this weird smell and they are more firm than a beauty blender or the real techniques but i washed them with some dawn dish soap (yes, dawn dish soap) and they were much more softer and got rid of the smell. Will i use the sponges? Probably not because like i said i wanted the box for the ones i own now. But is it worth the 10$? ABSOLUTELY! Thanks for your time. have a great day!

I bought these sponges originally just for the case, not realizing I would get both and I was so excited. I needed more sponges and it was two in one! When I received them I tried them out for the first time and they were hard and smelt disgusting! I even sent one to my Mom to have her use and she said the same things. The sponges were hard, smelt bad, and it didn’t feel like any product got onto my face.

I got the set in the egg crate. After reading the other reviews they went right into some warm soapy water with dawn dish soap, I soaked them for about 1 hour then gave them a warm water rinse, Soft and Fresh - no problems.Most people need to understand they are buying plastic and foam, and those things naturally have that smell.I use a Tria to apply makeup, but I got these to play around with contour while I wait for a work from home job or a vaccine - Stay safe in the world, wear your mask, stay 6 feet back.

Contrary to other negative reviews, I was happy when i opened the package because these sponges are soft, odorless and they get large when wet. However when i tried to use it, I applied little amount of foundation on the edge just to try it but I noticed it started to tear up in the middle. But i was even more surprised when i felt a tiny orange colored kinda sharp plastic that was embedded inside the sponge. I encircled in the photo. It could have scratched my face if I used the flat side.The price is good, the softness is great but quality not so good. Returning these.

The product comes as pictured. The box is nice and the colors of the sponges are vibrant. The sponges are very firm. I am just a little uneasy about using them because the sponges smell so strong of chemical. I washed them and the smell is still very strong. I think i might replace it with some more sponges but overall the set is decent.

They smell like burnt hair. So I mean, def wouldn’t recommend putting this on your face. When I wet the light pink sponge with cool water, it turned brown. My water doesn’t do that to anything else so I highly suggest don’t buy these.

These all come in a single bag, and the chemical smell is just too strong. I washed them, aired them out for a literal few days, even sprayed them to get the smell out.Nothing worked. I had to throw them out. How can you use these on or around your face when the smel is SO HORRIBLY STRONG?!?

These makeup sponges are so soft. These sponges made my makeup go on my face effortlessly. I love the mix of all the colors and love the shape to get into the corners of the eyes. (Two are missing from the picture because I used them.)
