I really like this bed and my cat went right into it the first day. I like that it's firm enough to keep its shape (upright and open) so he can go in & out of it with ease, yet it is very soft & warm inside. I bought him a 'sleeping bag' type bed that he doesn't like even though he likes to burrow in blankets. I'm sure he'll be in it more when the weather gets colder. The green is a very nice earth green color. He's 12.5 lbs and fits into it nicely - cozy snug but with room to stretch a bit.

When I adopted my cat I wanted her to have her own place to sleep. After reading the reviews I decided to take a gamble and buy this cat bed. The first two weeks I had my cat she refused to go in it and slept under my bed instead. Then I decided to put a small amount of catnip on the inside of the bed to lure her in. It worked. She went in it and decided it wasn't scary. She slowly started going in it to nap and now she will tuck herself in for bed at 9:45 each night. She seems very comfortable and and happy to have her own sheltered place to sleep. My cat is small, she weights under 8 pounds, and she has plenty of room so I think a bigger cat would be fine in this cat bed, too. I got the muted sage green color and it blends in well with my decor. The bottom of the bed is removable for washing if needed. It seems well made and I like the faux suede outside material.Update March 2016--Two and a half years later and my cat still loves her bed. I have washed the removable interior bed bottom cushion pad and it came out fine. This was a great purchase.

I read most of the reviews and had high hopes....BUT...This a wonderful bed IF your cat likes to be surrounded/enclosed...... I didn't think of this when I ordered. I didn't think about the fact that he hates having to be in his carrier on the way to the vet..... (He's an outside/inside cat who likes his freedom.) So, unfortunately, the bed isn't working so far, will see in a few days. But it's a great bed to have in a home, good quality and appearance for the price. I may be finding an "open" bed in the near future!

I have a number of cats, each with his/her own preferences about where and when to "lounge." I bought this bed for a kitten, so that she would have her own space. Now several cats (including the now-bigger-kitten) vie for the space and this bed has surpassed in popularity my worn but still beautiful wicker cat bed.When it arrived, it was pressed flat. "Uh-oh," I thought. I had had a previous experience with "top collapse." But the top, which is foam filled, popped right up and has remained so.The exterior is a suede-like material, and the interior is as plush as anything you'd ever want to wear next to your own skin. There's a removable plush pillow, too. It's clear to me that when the kitten gains access to the new bed, she feels she is in a womblike environment. Without seeing that she is in it, I can hear her loud purring, which begins the moment she crosses the "threshold."Back to my old cats: they are of all sizes, and this bed is big enough for any of them. But should you have an Enormous Cat, just remove the thick pillow and put in a pad or towel that is more accommodating. You can use the pillow separately elsewhere.The bed washes nicely. It's very lightweight. The tasteful laurel green color clashes with nothing and is unobtrusive.

This is the second bed I have bought and I'm about to order a third. I have the sage green and this one, laurel green. My cats love it and they look so happy and cozy in it. It could not be made any better. The inside is plush and the outside is stitched with care. I do wish AeroMark would make a larger version for two reasons: My larger cat likes to stretch out his legs and can't in this and he also like to cuddle with my other cat but there is not enough room for two. However, they both use it separately all the time.I'm purchasing another for a friend who has a Chihuahua. He didn't know that this breed likes to burrow and feel very warm. With a little blanket inside, this will be perfect for his dog.

The only drawback is that I thought it might be a bit larger. The description did give the dimensions however, it was my fault because I should have measured the cat as well :). For those wondering my cat is 11lbs. and that will give you an idea as to the fit.

My 8 1/2 pound yorkie loves his new little hangout so much so that I had to buy another for my sister whose house he stays when we travel. I wasn't sure it would be big enough given its really for cats but he has plenty of room while still feeling safe and cozy. In fact my other yorkie whose 9 1/2 pounds squeezes in with him sometimes. It's not really room enough for her so i wouldn't recommend it for dogs much bigger than 9 pounds but for under 9 its perfect.

This is an attractive pet bed but I cannot get my cats to go into it. No funny smells or bad stitching. I tried putting food and treats inside. I even tried catnip. They just stand at the entrance and look at me like I'm crazy. I can't say anything bad about it though. It's very nice. I'd sleep in it if I could fit. I must have stubborn cats. They don't know what they are missing.

SUPER SOFT! SUPER SQUISHY! GREAT BIG PILLOW! SUPER ATTRACTIVE! ...AND IT FITS ALL MY FAT CATZ!!! Sooooo happy with this purchase! Beautiful bed! Great craftsmanship! So friggin cozy! It was love at first sight for my gang, they didn't even bother with the box!!! (weird) *Now I've got to order 2 more...😻 (Catz are 16 and 19lbs.)

I'm amazed at amazon's fast shipping I got this the day after I ordered it amazing! The bed is good for my cat he likes to snuggle and it has a nice soft pillow on the bottom that you can remove for cleaning. Size is fairly small but fine if your cat is around 10 to 12 lbs. If your cat likes to stretch out this is not big enough. If he likes to snuggle and curl up this will be nice and cozy for him or her.

My cats love this. The smaller one (9lbs) loves caves and burrowing, and she spends hours every day in it. The bigger one (21lbs) *just* fits in here (he is long, tall and 2lbs overweight to give you an idea). I bought this size as I was looking for a 'cave' that would fit both, which it does. The bigger one just has to manoeuvre to get in there.The interior is incredibly soft and thick, and the bed seems well put together. I am happy with this purchase, and would recommend to others.

I got this for my cats because my apartment is pretty chilly. It took them awhile to warm up to it, but the bed is nice and plushy and there's enough space for 2 smallish cats to fit inside. Well worth the money!
