Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing!
I bought my boyfriend these cards as a gift and he loved them,and showed them off to our friends,who also enjoyed the interesting designs on the cards and box. They're elegant in a manly kind of way;Like I can image this deck sitting in a study on a mahogany table next to a cup of brandy and a box of cigars near a leather chair by a big fireplace. Money well spent and a nice gift for a card enthusiast.

Nice, but not what I was expecting
The box is beautiful, but I felt like I was in danger of ripping it trying to get it open as the material is just a thick cardstock.I was hoping for more of a departure from the standard design in the J,Q,K and ace cards (aside from the ace of spades obviously). They're mostly just more muted colors (and a little metallic gold) versus your standard Bicycle brand cards. On the other hand, I've seen some decks where they go too far with the design and the they're harder to read, so I appreciate the subtlety.Overall, I think they're nice, but I am worried a little bit about the box holding up.
