Cool but not necessary
These are fun and a necessity if you want a figure eight path or for the cars to go over and under, but I dont think you would need any extra, unless you want it to do the bridge twice... in my picture i show the bridge and then we kept it raised further down but it doesn't do anything 'cool' per say...

Do they last or do they fall apart easily with repeated use
The only things you would be concerned about with plastic expansion parts (for anything) are: 1. Do they fit the original track? Answer is yes. And 2. Do they last or do they fall apart easily with repeated use? Answer is no. We have had our for 3 months, and have had no problems with them falling apart. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is that I don't think that this item should have been an additional expense in the first place. I think it should have been part of the original track pack, but I understand that "additional add-on purchases" are part of how our economy works, so if you or your kid wants this kit, it won't be a waste of money.

These work well and do a good job of holding the track over the floor or other tack pieces. I haven't used them with the Super Trucks so I don't know if they have the height for them to pass under.

Cool - must have
These are great to get away from just the flat tracks; my son and the hubs both enjoy!

It's OK. Better than nothing
These are only OK. Its really the same as what comes with the Starter kit but you get 4 more. I agree if you want to do fun elevations you probably need a couple of these kits. The issue is they work for the cars but not the trucks without some tacky looking adjustment you would have to invent. Meanwhile they are just the exact same heights with no creativity. There should have been a couple that hold the track but that don't go straight down so you can have two different types of tracks on top of each other. If I could design an elevation kit, I would make them higher so a truck could go under and I would include 2 pieces that can hold the track but instead of going straight down would extend out to add more options. So then the kit would have 6 but with some variety.

Quick Review: If you are considering buying this expansion kit then you must already have Anki Overdrives Starter Pack....What an amazing concept in racing tracks and a must have for all boys! (and fathers too lol) This kit adds 4 track raising pieces which allow you to elevate the track over other pieces of track...pretty cool. This simply adds to the fun as you can build different configurations of tracks. Highly recommend Anki Overdrive and all the expansion kits they have available...this is one well thought out toy! My son and I spend hours playing with this awesome track!

must need if your have lots of track to make overpasses the only down side is the truck will not fit under the track
