Very nice light & laser for the price
I bought this for my HK VP9 which it fits very well. Not as bulky as some alternatives but still a very bright flashlight and excellent green laser. It uses small adapters or keys to attach to various rails; there were about 6 included which should cover most possibilities. I tried a couple of different ones which positioned the light in slightly different places on the rail; I went with the one that seemed to lock it down the best without any pressure pushing it off-horizontal. It was easy to tighten and lock in place. It was easy to adjust the laser to point exactly where the sights align when aiming 10-15 yds away. Since the laser is significantly below the barrel it will not be spot-on at all distances; if it's aligned at 15 yds then at much closer distances the laser will be low. All to be expected though and not a problem with the TLR-4.After several range tests the light has stayed perfectly zeroed in and doesnt seem to have moved at all. The flashlight is nice and bright and the controls are easy to use but do offer flexibility. You can set it up to be always on or push-to-activate, and to be flashlight only, laser only, or both. This worked very well for my needs and fit my VP9 perfectly.

Outstanding product
This light fits perfectly onto a .40 cal Springfield XD 3" subcompact. The rail is exactly the right length and it does not hang off the end (see note at the end of this review). But the cylindrical light portion does extend beyond the muzzle. So keep that in mind if you need to put this in a holster. The light is not Fenix-bright, but it's plenty bright. It will surely blind someone in the dark, which will give you a significant tactical advantage. The laser lasers in exactly the way a laser should. But the real selling point of this particular light is the switch: The paddle design for the continuous and momentary light switches is very easy to use and convenient. A light is no good to you if you can't find the switch to turn it on in the dark. Also, the ability to turn the light on, locate and blind your target, fire (or not), then turn it immediately back off again is vital so that you don't unintentionally broadcast your position waving a light all around. All of the components are well-made and high quality.Note: If this light is hanging off the end of your rail (regardless of what gun you have) then you have installed it incorrectly. Look under the rail and take note of the slot under there. The "key" on the light has to fit into that slot. That means you cannot slide it on from the end. You must line it up from the side and snap it on. If you mess this up, the light will come flying off when you fire the gun.I mention this here because the docs are cluttered with technical language which makes them hard to understand and there's only one picture. So it's understandable if people get this wrong.

No sight adjustment screw issues. Great home security product.
First, I had no problems with laser sight adjustments, which some other people reported (stripping the screws). I used the provided hex key, and torqued with the SHORT lever arm, not the long one. Perhaps people stripping the laser sight adjustment screws were using the long lever arm instead of the short one and applying too much torque?Second, get this version with the included key set, rather than the other similar product on amazon without the key set. The key set is worth more than the price difference, and permits you to use this light+sight on any weapon with a rail (perhaps one you haven't even thought of purchasing yet). The flashlight on the TLR-4 is plenty bright for use inside a typical-size home (~40 foot max range). No, it's not the brightest LED flashlight that I have, but it's enough to get the job done without screwing up my night vision too badly (actually a concern I have with more powerful tactical lights). I opted for the TLR-4 instead of the TLR-2S, because I figure that if I ever actually need this product, I don't want to be futzing around attempting to trigger the strobe when I should actually be focusing on identifying the target and trigger control instead! That the TLR-4 is half the price certainly doesn't hurt, either :-)I mean, a strobe would be nice if it were totally effortless, but when you get down to it, if a basic flashlight doesn't get the job done, this light is connected to something else that will. I have read the instructions for various similar light+sights with a strobe feature, and they all required an extra step to trigger the strobe effect. Which means that in the heat of the moment, either I would forget about the strobe, or I would be distracted by it. Neither is really a selling point! This light should be powerful enough to easily identify targets at night at 40 feet. People with poor night vision or really large houses might opt for a more powerful light, such as the TLR-2.The laser sight works fine, but the primary issue is that it is located about 2" from the bore axis (depending on the weapon). This means that the laser sight will always be off vertically except for 1 point in space at a specific distance. So, I believe this laser sight should simply be aimed low at close range, which should not pose a problem. Sight it in at the farthest range you would ever consider using it to shoot, and at any closer range it will be aiming a bit low.I see some people mount these things on long guns off to the side, not remotely aligned with the bore either horizontally nor vertically. That is not something I would want to deal with if my life depended on it. Easier to remember to just aim a couple inches low. Though I suppose with scatter-shot at 10-30 feet, it wouldn't make much difference...

Decent light
Good light but it's only for the USP 45 I geuss and doesn't come with any other rail attachments only the USP one , kinda of a miss leading add if I say , now I gotta pay 40$ for a 1913 pic rail adaptor. Kinda lame
