Exactly What My Office Needed.
I had been searching for a solid, sleek, extended-height office chair (not a drafting chair) for my office as the nested office desk I have is higher than average. I looked through several candidates online and in stores such as Staples but to no avail. Almost everything I saw virtually or in-person seemed either flimsy, made of cheap plastic and fabric or did not meet the minimum/maximum height measurements that I was looking for. After reading several of the reviews posted here, I decided to risk it and go for this chair and I'm glad to report that I did. It fits the "Industrial" black/chrome office decor perfectly and, more importanly, very comfortable to sit at either of two height positions (lower part of the nested table is for personal laptop, the upper one for work laptop). I wish the arm rests for this chair were part of the package but I'm glad I purchased them (separately) when I ordered the chair. The arm rests are adjustable as well and do make a considerable difference when it comes to comfort especially if you'll be using a keyboard. I tried the chair without arm rests first. The chair has a black/chrome finish I had been looking and feels very solid to sit in. The foot rest is stable at the lowest position and the lever to adjust height while sitting in the chair provides for a very smooth pneumatic lift-up or lift-down. Both the chair and the arm-rest arrived together and the entire thing was very easy to assemble. Sure, it could be seen as being on the pricey side with the arm-rest and all but we all know that we get what we pay for, don't we? In this case, design/looks and functionality/comfort were my goals and I wanted something I'd actually LIKE sitting in for prolonged periods of time to work in without getting uncomfortable and shifting around. This chair meets the need in style and I'd highly recommend it.

Quality construction, easy to assemble and the optional arms are a good choice to add at the very beginning.
Easy to put together. Comfortable. Best for medium and smaller body types - XL and XXL men aren't likely to be as comfortable. Good quality construction. We also ordered the adjustable arms and I think they are necessary and very easy to put on during the assembly stage.I love that the ring is metal and not chromed plastic. You can tighten it down and raise it to the height you need. You can also adjust the tension of the back. The seat raises and lowers with ease. Fairly small seat - not really for largest body types. It's a fairly petite chair. Maybe more so with the arms installed.I'll update over time if my experience changes.

Pretty good Chair
It took my husband a very small amount of time to put this chair together, including the armrests bought separately and reviewed separately. I absolutely love the width and height of the chair, as well as the air lift, but the foot rest is a problem. I'm handicapped and needed a chair wide enough to be comfortable and that I could adjust to fit under the special sewing table I purchased before I became handicapped. That table is made about counter top height so normal people can use it for pining fabric and cutting it without back stress. To be able to sit under the table at the right height, the chair seat needed to be about 22" high and adjustable to a higher height when needed. The chair also needed to swivel to aid me getting in and under the table with the minimum amount of trouble, and have casters for me to be able to roll it easily into position wherever I needed to be to use my table. This chair fits the bill and I would have given it a 5 star rating but for one thing, the chair seat is adjustable, but not the foot rest. It is great if you're using the highest setting, but I'm using the lowest most of the time, and the foot rest is way too high for the lowest setting and my husband and I couldn't find any possible way to adjust it to a lower position. Otherwise the chair is very comfortable for a heavy person or a light one. The air lift is great if I need it higher to reach the inner areas of the table. Fix the foot rest problem and it would be a perfect chair for anyone needing an adjustable Height chair that is at least 22" at the lowest setting. As it is, I'll have to buy a step-stool to put under my feet when using it for long periods of time at the lowest setting.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I can't stand all black office chairs. After working in offices for more than 15 years, it's the little things. So a white or different colored chair was on my list. And one that could pull up to a normal height desk but also be used as a drafter's chair as I paint after work. This chair works for both! So rare to find. It's mostly one or the other. Also, the wheels are strong and glide smoothly. I scoot all over the place now! Haha And the hydraulic pump is heavy and strong. It took me maybe 5 minutes, tops, to put together. Super easy. My ONLY complaint would be the lumbar curve in the chair. I'm not sure if it's just me, as I've had several spinal injuries, but this lumbar "support" pushes out further than most chairs. It's an odd amount of curve for me. But other than that, I sit comfortably, even the cushion is great. It also has a foot rest!!! I'd definitely buy again.

Good quality--easy to assemble
Very easy to assemble, since most of this chair was already put together--I really appreciated not having to push the casters into place. (Have had to get help to do that on another chair.) It took this almost-72yo office manager about 15 minutes total. Sweet! :)I like the nice, thick padding on the seat and the tilting backrest. It rolls very smoothly on the industrial carpet.Since the lowest seat setting is about 1-1/2 inches higher than my old chair, my feet don't sit flat on the floor (I'm 5'-7"), but I most often rest my feet on my chair legs anyway, so no biggie. I've been considering getting a stand up monitor and keyboard arm support, and if I do, this chair will be perfect for alternating sitting/standing.

Fairly comfortable and looks good
Don't use it a lot but fits the bill in terms of having a chair that works with my standing desk setup. Fairly comfortable and looks good.
