3M Scotch 908 ATG Gold Tape (Acid Neutral): 1/4 in. x 36 yds. (Clear Adhesive on Tan Liner)

I have been using this tape for at 16-17 years.It's the best for my greeting card business. It's just been hard to find lately. It usually comes with 2 to a package but this was just one and more $ than the other. Don't know why? But I needed it and didn't discover it was just one until I received it.

This was a complete waste of money. It sticks to the liner it’s wrapped on and is completely useless. It’s the oddest thing I’ve ever seen- the adhesive literally stretches and remains stuck to the liner when you try to apply it.

Although it took me a while to get the hang of it and get the adhesive coming off useably without a tool to apply it, one I figured it out, it lays a nice line of adhesive that seems to hold the mats together well.

I make a fair number of greeting cards, and had been going through a LOT of those little self-contained roller tape gizmos. Finally broke down and purchased the Scotch ATG 714 tape machine.Scotch ATG714 Adhesive Applicator.THIS is the tape you want to use with this tape gun. It's acid neutral -- meaning it won't discolor your works of art. It's the one used by picture framing companies, so its archival quality. And it STICKS, permanently.Shop around for the best price. After I purchased a couple of rolls here, I found it at another site for about 4 dollars per roll including shipping when purchased by the box (24 rolls). Amazon may be able to match that at some point (perhaps as a sale item or something), but for now, shop around.

The tape itself is beyond reproach, perfect for my application and excellent quality.But I received only one roll per order, expecting two.At $11 per order, one roll is not a good deal!I contacted amazon, and they issued a refund for half my order, which was nice, to their credit.But it was not entirely clear that two rolls should have come per order. In other words, it was not clear whether the shipping of only one roll per order was the error, or if the web page description was in error (in the Q+A it says there would be two rolls per order).Amazon said they would look into it.

Bought for acid-free archival project. Fits tape gun well, and has worked so far with taping Tyvek envelopes.

I found this a disappointing buy. It was very difficult to use, did not seem to stick uniformly, and overall a waste of money. Hope to find something else I can use to mount watercolor art more easily.

Un poco dificil de usar al inicio pero con el uso aprender a aplicarlo de manera manual.Yo lo uso para finar unas monturas de timbres postales a un album.En general sale mas barato que los que vienen con dispensador, este trae 36yds, algo asi como 1300 pulgadas, y los otros solo 300 pulgadas. Esto es 4 veces mas por poco menos del doble de precio.Aunque los de 300 pulgadas, definitivamente son mas faciles de aplicar y guardar.

Did not fit my atg 700 What a waste of money

I don't have a problem with the product, but the price is extortionate for just one roll - £35. A previous purchase for the same product I was sent a pack of 12 for similar price. Outrageous!!The description is deceptive as it describes the "items" as "12".
