Revolutionary Girl Utena: After the Revolution Paperback – October 6, 2020

Personally i loved it. Seeing most of the main cast resolve their issues with Utena as their aid was touching. I’ll have to reread plenty times to try to fully understand everything however, as well as anyone who knows Utena knows nothing is very straightforward. High quality manga, i definitely recommend this for any Utena fan to pick up. It follows up more on the anime than the manga btw. I do wish we got to see Utena and Anthy as adults though, I’ll say that. But even though i didn’t get to see that it’s still a pretty good read

Book arrived with no damage to the cover or pages. Print quality is excellent, the colors on the cover are very vibrant and detailed. There are 3 stories inside chronicling what happened to specific side characters years after the end of the original manga; Revolutionary Girl Utena. There's nothing ground breaking in these stories but I highly recommend you add this book to your Utena collection if you have not done so already as it does tie up some loose ends from the orginal story. If you have not read the original Utena manga yet, I recommend you do so first before considering buying this (and yes that includes if you've only watched the anime and not read the manga since the stories between both differ greatly and this book is specifically a continuation of the orignal manga's story).

I wasn't sure what to expect, but coming back to these characters felt both familiar and distant. The main cast are free of the academy, and its many years later. This ribbon of accountability that ties them all together was exactly what I needed. Just long enough to be impactful.

Isnt what you would have expected. Interesting little extra tale. But you dont get to much from it.

Llegó a tiempo y en excelentes condiciones. En esta editorial el manga no viene con ningún plástico de protección como con Panini.

Esse volume traz histórias que se passam após a "revolução" de Utena na série original e meio que encerram histórias que ficaram "em aberto". A arte de Chiho Saito continua sendo impressionante e, certamente, está mais amadurecida. No entanto, os roteiros dos capítulos claramente vieram como um produto "comemorativo", não sendo desfechos realmente necessários para a história e trazem um final pouco satisfatório em termos de desenvolvimento para Utena e Anthy, se levarmos em conta o desfecho original. Certamente é um produto para fãs da história e da autora, mas não seria a melhor peça para representar o conjunto Utena / Chiho Saito.

Bueno, básicamente se basa en historias cortas de los personajes secundarios de Utena despues de que se produjera la revolución en el manga principal.Eso si,esta en ingles para el que quiera saber ese detalle pero si controlas inglés no tendreis problema.

I've been a fan of the Utena anima and manga for a number of years, so when I saw there was a new book being released I absolutely had to buy it. If you're a fan of the existing manga, or even just the show, this will not disappoint!When you start reading, it feels like you really are picking straight up from where the original series left – literally, because the art and style makes you feel like you last watched/read the original only a day before. It's so easy to dive back into this magnificent world.There's a story for each Duelist, all very enjoyable, and considering how many years have passed since the original concluded this is a very satisfying follow-on. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoyed the original – as I said before, either the manga or even just the show. You don't need to have read the manga to enjoy this.
