Healthy and Delicious!
This product tastes amazing! I love hibiscus, I was familiarized with hibiscus flavored iced teas from a bottle or from restaraunts and was curious about trying something for at home. It's great to have in teas iced or hot, even though it is recommended to have iced. I'm glad that it is something that is not riddled in sugar and it has its own natural sweetness, and something that I have been incorporating in changing my health habits. It is preserved well, and I'm excited to try different cooking and drink things with it!! Would buy from the seller again!!

I have little to compare it to
I dont know much about sorrel but this package seems better than the other package I bought. The tea I made is darker than the other one. What that means exactly - I have no idea. But I would buy this product again and not the other one.

This is a family favorite
My family and I are from the West Indies, where dried hibiscus is known as Sorrel. Everyone loves this stuff as a traditional drink. You can have it as a hot tea, but West Indians (Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados etc) prefer it as cool refreshing drink on ice. On a recent visit to Trinidad I was reminded how wonderful it was to drink chilled. I missed the tart flavor. Yum!! So glad I found this brand on Amazon. It was highly recommended by a friend. I can tell you this is the real deal. Itās full of vitamin C as well as other good stuff. A single pack will make over a gallon. Once made itāll last about a week in the fridge, but in my family itās done in two days. What a treat! I love it. Iām sure you will too.

Bag was cut open in the middle
Was disappointed that the bag had a slit in the middle and I only used my hands to open the envelope it came in. So it was done before it was shipped. Hopefully it doesnt affect the freshness. Trying to add pictures but the app is not allowing access to my gallery right now.

Low carb, high health, tasty mixer
My college roommates of years ago are from Trinidad. They introduced me to their rum. Later, they introduced me to what they call Sorrel, served on ice. My wife knows it as Hibiscus Tea, served hot. It has a nice tart flavor. Like cranberry but more spiritual. Loaded with vitamin c and other good stuff. I drink it in the morning, I think it helped lower my bp a few points. Nevertheless, its good stuff. And you can add that rum, or vodka for your weekend health binge.

what I received is not 1 lb
The packages I received are 2 packages X 85 gram = 170 gram /// this is much less than 1 lb (= 450 gram)I have no problem with the product but what they advertise is wrong

Opened bag, laced with rocks stale brown color.
This Sorrel arrived with several holes in the bag. Upon close inspection it was obvious the sorrel was not āfreshā. It also contained small rocks mixed with the sorrel. When placed in hot water it appeared as if it was already used. So it gave a āstaleā brown color. There was also no rich sorrel smell that you would get when placed in hot water. This purchase was a complete waste and I would not recommend anyone trying to make Jamaican sorrel to use this sorrel.
