I love this pot! It’s my go to for curries, my oxalis and soups. I want to try chili but I’m wary because of the chemical reaction that could occur. My only complaint would be that pesky sticker. Oh my goodness! Literally sprayed it with everything and still had trouble scrubbing it off. But I would still recommend it!

I purchased it on amazon for making Biryani's (South Indian dish). This does the job well, it doesn't have a very thick wall or the base but I liked the lid closure which sites exactly and seals well. It is designed nicely sits well on all kind of stoves including electric stoves. It is light weight for its size and strong enough to to get the job done but not super strong which might be possible for heavy base or thick walled dishes. If you are looking for non heavy one, this is a good choice.

The only issue I have is that when it arrived it was all shiney and new. I made my first dish which was souo and had a ladel and spoon that would not leave marks. I washed it in the dishwasher after basica)ly washing it by hand (you know the typical dishwasher saga) and when it came out the lid was all shiny like new. But the pot had little round dark spots on the inside. I washed it by had, used a sponge with a scubbing side and I used magic eraser on it wich usually gets everything out that I don't want to scratch. I have chainmail that I use on cast iron and a few other things lightly but didn't want to scratch my new pot. I mean that was the issue, I wanted it shiney and new.But the function of the pot is wonderful and I do not regret my purchase. I have a smaller version and a frying pan of the same brand both in my save for later when my ship comes on 😀

I love the way it cooks and its cleaning ease. I would have given it that extra star if the glued-on label had been easy to remove. I finally removed it with many sprays of WD-40 and a heavy-duty plastic scrapper with a fine edge.

I liked everything about this pot from sturdiness to color and size. It’s perfect for those family dinners.

Purchased for $23.99, not a bad deal in my opinion, & overall worked well. The pot itself is reasonably sturdy, but the lid is not as solid though functions well enough.1) Discolored - Cooked in it once discolored near the top (see photo). Could not get it out even with steel wool & Bar Keepers Friend. Its just oxidation, nothing to worry about with aluminum.2) Dimensions - purchased the 3.8 quart model & it holds that much liquid, but the dimensions listed on Amazon are not accurate. The pot is approximately: 12” wide from handle to handle, 9 3/4” outside diameter, 6” high (lid on).3) Sticker - Main reason for 3 star review. It comes with a fairly large sticker on the side of the pot which other reviews also note so plan on spending a good 30 min getting that off. I had to use a razor blade to remove it which left the adhesive. It won’t come off using rubbing alcohol or acetone. However Goo Gone removed it with ease. If you don’t have Goo Gone don’t buy this pot.
