IDEAL Electrical 30-3430 Smart-Grip - 9.5 in., Linesman Plier with New England Nose, Crimping Die, Fish Tape Puller

Ideal has been around for years and dedicated their tools to the electricians. But hvacr techs and maintenance techs, auto mechanics, handyman and other servicemen use them as well. I like that you can twist wire, strip wire (if you do it right), pull fish tape, and the duh cut wire. This plier has good grips for comfort and the wire cutters are sharp, the head of the pliers can be used for reaming conduit. Overall they are good pliers.

killer tool. I have a Klein but I suspect Ideal Industries Pliers might "win in a close fight".....

I use it daily as an electrician, often as a hammer and has held up well. The pliers themselves feel and look just as heavy duty as the Klein's, but these handles are a softer rubber than the Klein journeyman

great pliers I have 2 sets

great pliers, nice balance cut well,, ergonomics are great. I am not saying anything bad about kleins they are on the top also (everyone at work uses them), but they are little top heavy for me .( they make better hammer than ideal) and hard to open . ideal were smooth from beginning.I considered knipex which are also top notch. but I will stick with these because they are IDEAL

I replaced my 30 year old ideal pliers and they are just as good.

ACTUALIZACION!!!Volvi a comprar el mismo modelo, de la misma publicacion y me llego un modelo sin la ponchadora y el jalaguia, ademas de que ya no es hecho en USA, por el precio prefiera alguna otra marca gringa o knipex.Excelentes pinzas, Ideal Industries es una merca relativamente desconocida en México, pero es del top 3 de la industria eléctrica y comunicación en USA, estás pinzas a mi parecer, son de lo mejor que puedes comprar en este tipo de piezas para electricista, si las comparamos con los gigantes klein tools y knipex, pienso que estás son como una combinación de esas dos, las pinzas tienen excelentea terminados a la par de Klein, pero no tan buenos como Knipex, que Klein me ha quedado mal algunas veces, knipex nunca. Las pinzas son mejor precio beneficio que Klein o Knipex, ahora, la versión de esas marcas con ponchadora y jala guías es considerablemente más costosas, las dos o tres versiones que fábrica ideal, todas traen ponchadora y jala guías, es un marca de mcuha tradición en USA, la verdad valen bastante la pena.
