These covers are made of heavy duty plastic but are lite. I like that they are very large & fully cover my large plates as well as my small ones. I like them so much, I gave one to my son & daughter-in-law.I would purchase them again.

The diameter and height are perfect for most microwave needs. The vent allows you to set how much steam escapes during microwaving. The only improvement it could use is for there to be insulating grips on the sides of the handle, which gets very hot from steam during use. Highly recommended.

If you don't bang it around or drop it, it should function great. Super easy to clean, but the plastic is a tad cheap, so just be careful. If it weren't for that, I'd give it 5 stars, no hesitation. Might want to buy more than one, to have as a back-up.

It's nice to have two pics of the Microwave Plate Cover. However, why do you need two? Share with your BFF? one actually is good enough unless you have two microwave ovens.

A decent quality cover for the price, especially when you get 2 in the package. I was happy the stickers were on the plastic bag rather than the covers, so no extra work to get stickers off. Per the stickers, the covers are microwave, freezer, & dishwasher safe, also BPA free. They are sturdier than I expected with a 3/16" thick plastic band around the base for stiffness. I warmed up leftovers for 3 minutes and the cover did an excellent job holding in the steam even with the vent fully open. Be aware the cover may contain hot steam when you remove it from heated food. I down-voted one star only because the size is not 11-1/2" as advertised. The outside diameter is 11-1/4" and the inside diameter is slightly less than 11", as the cover fits snug over my 10-7/8" dinner plates. I will update this review as I use the covers more.

These are great when heating food up in the microwave. It steams the food while containing splatter. Just don't use for soups or anything that has a lot of liquid because it'll make a mess. It came with 2, but we haven't needed to use the second one, yet.

I bought two of these, which are large enough to cover a standard dinner plate and any food that would be on it. I marked them down one star to four, because the vent is in a place that causes potential steam burns from the steam that builds up inside. I learned to use a mitt when removing them from the cooked item to avoid burning my thumb (again). If the vent had been placed at the end of the handle instead of beside it, that issue wouldn’t arise.I was having a problem where to store them, so I drilled a couple of holes just up from the edge, one on each side, and attached hooks to the side of my fridge. The holes don’t interfere with use, but they increase usability, because now they’re easy to store.

These seem like good products & will hopefully last a while. I rated a 4 overall only because they were packed poorly & one of them had cracked & lost a big chunk, necessitating a re-order. No problems second time around. I rated Sturdiness a 4 because I don't have much to go on at this point, other than one did break in transit.
