The signs of a good baseball pants for your son ...1) Does he have raspberries after sliding2) Do they look good3) Do they affect the way he plays4) Do they clean well5) How long does it take before he gets holes in the knees (or anywhere)My son, who was uncomfortable sliding with his old baseball pants, got these and have been comfortably sliding since. I just bought our second pair because they had been getting small, but he didn't want to give them up. Finally after two years of wearing them, a hole appeared in one of the knees. It was time to replace them for the next size up and when they arrived, he was happy.The pin-stripe on the side looks really sharp, and if your son is a "knickers" kind of kid, these are really good ones. The trend now is to wear baseball pants to the shoe tops, but my son likes to wear baseball socks, and quite honestly, it's a great retro baseball look (but his choice).These clean reasonably well, but if you can, buy gray. As a manager, I always have the uniform with gray parents in fear of angry parents (who just don't like white because it never cleans well). Overall, these are great baseball pants and really glad that we got them almost by chance (they were part of an all-star uniform).

My 11 year old grandson needed white baseball pants- short style for the 2016 season. My daughter looked all over town and could not find what he needed. One week before picture day - we found these on Amazon and had them at my door in 2 days. I ordered the 3X- and they are perfect!He is a definite husky size- wears size 16 in Boys department store pants.These are of good quality, made well and have weathered 5 games already- coming out of the washing machine looking like new. They are loose enough for him to be comfortable- but fit well and look sharp!I thought the coach was daft deciding on short white pants, royal shirts with royal and orange knee socks- but the guys look great! Short pants- Babe Ruth style!Thanks again Amazon!

These are my go to for knickers. My sons(s) love these and they are picky when it comes to their game day gear. After reading the reviews, I sized up and was glad I did the first season. Then I could gauge what to purchase for the next. He normally wore Youth M so I purchased a YL and they fit perfect. We never had a problem with holes in the knees like others complained about. Mizuno has never let us down. I love the look and my son(s) love the fit. The aren’t baggy like other knickers so they don’t look frumpy out on the mound. My oldest sons Travel Ball Coach liked the look so much that he even purchased some for his son.

My son has had a few sizes of these pants. We buy them year after year. They are thick enough they last without getting holes in them. They aren’t see through like most white baseball pants and they are a slimmer style with a great fit.

My son outgrew all of his baseball pants mid-season, so I purchased these as he loved his last pair of Mizuno pants. These fit really well and I find them to be very durable and thick. They also wash well and don't pill as much as other brands.

The quality of these pants is great, although slightly baggy in the thigh, they fit better than the regular length pants. Highly recommend if you’re looking for shorties!

Great quality, nice strong material, padded inside a big plus. Only runs a little smaller than expected. My son is size small this pants fit good but when he puts the jersey inside is hard to close the pants. I might order a medium better for next season. The quality is not a problem is really nice quality not a cheap pants.

Bought these for 13 year old son. He played about 10 games with them with no flaws. Used them for multiple practices in the off season with no flaws still. He plays hard. Built in sliding pad around hips is a huge plus. We’ll made and fit as expected. Will only buy Mizuno pants fir him.
