Newport Vs. Seacamp
I ordered Keen Seacamp and Newport in exactly the same size and color to compare, and pick the best fit for my 7yo.Seacamp seems more slender, lighter and airier, and at a first glance, I liked it better than the heavier Newport. However, Seaport only has two straps for the elastic shoelace, and does not adjust to the foot as well as Newport, which has three straps.Newport can be tightened all the way to the toes, providing a much better foot support for narrower feet. After running loops around the livingroom in both pairs, my child said Newports were much more comfortable, and that's what we kept.

Watch out for country of origin!!
These shoes VARY TREMENDOUSLY depending on where they are made. Those made in China are well made and of sturdy materials. Those made in Cambodia are very poorly made--misshapen and slightly lower quality materials. The big problem is:THERE IS NO WAY TO FIND OUT WHICH ONES ARE MADE IN CHINA--until they arrive and you have to send them back. Different colors are made in different countries. The purple ones are actually made in Vietnam and are not as bad as the ones made in Cambodia, but the best ones are made in China.

Great sandal so far.
I ordered the Seacamp and Newport to see the difference. Both are very similar except for two things...the rubber covers the toe area more on the Newport compared to the Seacamp and the Newport has an overlapping strap, which might keep the shoe on better, but not sure. Ultimately I went with the Newport. I’d keep both though if I could! Seacamp would be an excellent shoe to get on and off quickly and both seem comfortable, soft and flexible. Once we use them this summer, I’ll give an update.

Fits great for a small adult woman, love these!!!!
LOVE THESE!!! I am a 43yr old woman who is 4' 11" and I normally wear a women's size 7 shoe. These fit perfectly!! I am a KEEN fan but the cost is a bit much for me often. I needed a sandal that had a wide toe and good cushioning and Purple is my fave color. What rocks about these over the adult Keen's (besides the price) is that you have separate adjustment at the ankle and that's what I needed since my ankle's swell sometimes and yet sometimes I have problems with my pinky toes and need things looser there. So the way these are designed I can make more adjustments to fit my comfort needs. The only thing though is I like my heel area to be a bit more elevated so I'm not leaning back on my heels since I have bad knees due to arthritis but it was an easy fix, there was room enough for me to put in inserts.I don't think they are quite as rugged as the adult ones but pretty dang close and for the price it's great.

Quality
Quality sandal as expected. Great fit on my daughter's wide feet. Nothing much to say about this sandals as Keen is already a trusted brand. Daughter's 6 this year and for the last 4 years I've always bought her between 5-7 carter sandals and other brands of the same price range. She's a lot more active now, her shoes doesn't last a day or 2 without cuts and scuffs, ufortunately her shoe size isn't as cheap anymore. So instead of getting her 5 and more from cheaper brands, I decided to get her 3 from three different pricy but robust brands; this one included. Ends up cheaper this way. And it's her favorite color! She can't wait to wear it outside.

Keen sandals run smaller than Keen boots and all Keens run smaller than other brands
The rating that these fit true to size is bewildering. My son measures a 7.5 wide (toddler). After 6 pairs of sandals, we found ones that fit (Keen 9 and Littleplum 9). I have always held off on Keens because of how stiff their soles are (I love them and have tons but not for my son). Someone mentioned in a review that they found the sandals more flexible than other Keen soles. I disagree. My son found them uncomfortable, I think because they are stiffer than anything else he's ever worn.As others have mentioned, it would be nice if Keen could figure out sizing. The 8s I initially ordered are about the size of the Crocs size 6 he wore last year. His winter Keen boots were a size 10, so in hindsight I don't know why I paid attention to people who checked "true to size" and ordered an 8 (probably b/c this all started with the 8.5W Stride Rite's I ordered that were enormous - probably legit true to size). These are the ones we landed on that are wide enough for him and he found comfortable. Less stiff sole and fabric than the Keens. Not as wide as the Keens but fit him with a thin sock and look just wide enough:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QFVDXFF/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sturdiness and quality are worth the price
After grabbing a pair at Nordstrom Rack 2 years ago, I bought another pair here when he outgrew the last pair. When I find a good pair of shoes for my kids, I tend to become loyal to that brand (for sneakers I went Champion for the flexible sole), but I'm all for these Keens for summertime. They do cost about twice the price of alternatives, but they will last twice as long. Our last pair went 2 years and is soon getting ready to be worn by kid #2.Sizing is correct as far as I can tell. I got one size up because kids grow so fast and I want them to work for next summer as well.

Scam. Too small, and they’ll make you pay to return.
Way too small. The size 8 looks like a 6.5. I’m so upset. Now we have to pay to return them? What a scam!My boy recently started outgrowing his size 7’s (he’s almost 2yrs old) so I got an 8. I think the Keen 8 is smaller than all his size 7 shoes at home.I think it’s very unfair to make customers pay for a return when the sizes are irregular and not accurate. I now need a 9, which I’m hoping is like a normal size 8. But I’m afraid that will also be too small, and then what? I’ll have to pay to return and get a 10? No thank you!

Great brand for kids toes!
Keen is a great brand for active kids! The rubber toe tips & cushion footbed are great for avoiding hurt feet! Red color is hard to find so glad you all had them in stock!

Size?
True to Keen quality, unfortunately the seller doesn’t know the difference between “Child size 7” and “Adult size 7”. I ordered 7 (Adult) but received Child 7. No problem in returning but very disappointed as I really wanted these, but won’t chance reordering.

The sizing is completely off and beware these are very heavy for children!
These are a nice design but they are ridiculously small - they come a good '3cm' smaller than all of my other son's shoes that are a Size 4 (junior-adult). A real pain that I now need to send these back due to the supplier's mistakes.
