I got this BlizeTec knife for my son who is a diehard outdoorsman. (I ordered this product at a discount in exchange for honest feedback.) Hunting, fishing, farming, taxidermy – you name it my son does it all. He has accumulated quite a nice collection of knives over the years dating way back to when he was a little boy hanging with his hero, his grandfather who taught him everything he knows. This feedback comes directly from his thoughts after using the knife for a couple of days. Upon receiving the knife, he noticed the good quality of the knife then immediately commented it was lightweight. He also really liked the holster that came with it and how he would be able to attach it to his belt. He piddled outside for a couple of hours and at one point I noticed he was whittling on a stick he picked up out of the yard, I guess to see how it sliced through the bark. This isn’t technically a whittling knife, but he said it sliced right through with ease. A few other comments he had:- This is a fixed blade and he prefers a fixed blade over a folding blade for safety reasons.- The holster makes it always ready for multi-purpose uses.- He gave 5 stars for the size as it was just right for his hand size.- There are grooves for the fingers to handle and he gave 4 stars for the gripping ability.- Good quality steel – light weight yet strong, sturdy and durable. Easy to clean.My son found this knife to be a great addition to his collection. He liked it so much he is going to recommend this BlizeTec knife to his buddies. He is looking forward to using it more in the future. Overall, he felt the knife was of good quality with a great price. Highly recommend.

Lucky me, I was recently given a gift card code to buy this knife from BlizeTec! I placed my order only minutes after receiving the promo code to get it for free, and needless to say, my anticipation was great! After seeing the product pictures on Amazon, I really couldn't wait to get my hands on this blade. As it turned out, I didn't have to wait for long. Even though I just placed the order this last Saturday, I was pleasantly surprised to come home Monday afternoon and find my package waiting for me. So, big points to BlizeTec for their impeccable shipping!Now, about the knife itself... First off, the pictures did not do it justice. It is both sleek and seamless, and the contrast between the brushed steel and the black titanium accents give it an incredible and unique aesthetic. As a whole, the knife is perfectly balanced, and came out of the box honed to a razor edge. In fact, I managed to slice a half-inch branch off a tree in less than thirty seconds, and strip the bark in thirty more. The handle fits comfortably in the hand, and the wide, strong blade is excellent for all of the cutting, shaving, scraping, prying and poking tasks I have so far used it for. But not only is it an unmatched survival or utility knife, it also has the makings of a wonderful throwing knife! So, whatever you decide to use it for, you really can't do much better than this blade. I actually would have been happy to pay full price for it! I do believe I shall be wearing this knife on my belt on a daily basis. In short, it's a must-have for any collector or survival enthusiast!

I received my BlizeTec knife (after getting a discount, provided that I would give my honest feedback on the product) and I was immediately surprised by the quality. Not only is the knife itself appear high standard (It's stainless steel, there's spots for your fingers and 4 holes in the handle -- which I'm guessing is to reduce the weight) but the holster for the knife, which what looks like a little loop for attachment to a belt, had me a little impressed (I kind of expected a loose knife, for some reason.) My friend and I played around with it for a while, safely of course, and we both thought it felt really nice in the hand and didn't seem clunky or awkward. We got bored and decided to torture test the bad boy a little. We drove it through empty cans, cardboard boxes, construction paper (We hadn't even sharpened the thing yet.) The fact that it's all one solid piece, makes it more durable then, say, a knife with a folding mechanism, we decided after getting it stuck in a board of wood. I'm not a knife person or knife "enthusiast" by any stretch of the word, but this is one cool knife.
