Firefly - Artbook: A Visual Celebration of Joss Whedon's Swashbuckling 'Verse

I may be a tad biased (as I'm published in the book itself), but I have to express my awe at the works of my fellow artists who are also featured inside the book. I'm humbled by the incredible artwork that is on every single page, and feel honored to be a part of it! This book is a must-have for any Browncoat or even a casual fan!

This may be one of the most gorgeous books I have seen in a long time. The art is amazing, the reproductions bright, glossy, and beautiful. All of your fellow Browncoats will absolutely be jealous. A must for anyone who collects anything Firefly.

Received this artbook from one of my all-time favorite television series. The artwork and layout throughout the book is beautiful, well crafted, and endless fun. Well worth it!

Way better than I expected in every way.I put off buying this book because of the high price tag, and because I thought, "so some Firefly art, big deal." Boy was I wrong, and I'm so glad I finally got the book.1) A large collection of artwork covering a dazzling array of art styles. Fascinating to look through for newbies, and for those of us who love the show, heartwarming and inspiring. Artists really captured the emotion behind each scene and character. You can tell the artists themselves also love the show.2) Beautiful presentation. Nice size with high quality glossy paper. Includes notes on each artwork, and memorable quotes from the series that match up with each depiction. Just really, really well done.3) Perfect addition to the Firefly library. I have (nearly) all the books now, and this slots right in with the documentary volumes, comics, novels and other various just so perfectly. This is a book you don't read, so much as reflect on and dream, about how the series, characters and stories made an impact on you.Anyway, don't wait like I did - buy the book and enjoy. Or, give as a gift to your favorite Firefly fan, they will be thrilled and grateful.

Really good book with some great art, and a wide variety of styles and mediums. A couple of pieces aren't my sort of thing (art is subjective afterall), but most of the art is really well done, and some of it is really outstanding.

I had this book on pre-order and was excited about it release. It arrived today. What a disappointment! I was expecting some quality art work from the comics, novels and film, what I received was a sub G.C.S.E art book with poor likeness. Avoid.

Some good art but a lot of second rate stuff too. Disappointing for the money.
