Couplago40 FT Long 40AMP Rated (220V-240V) EV Charging Extension Cable for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Compatible with All J1772 Plug

Very thick cable, not sure about the gauge of the wire but the wire diameter with insulation is almost 7/8", which makes it hard to roll and deploy and very heavy, but also probably more resistant to wear. Almost double the thickness and weight of other 40amp cables, even thicker than the OEM one attached to the clippercreek hcs-40.Brand is not Couplago, as listed, but Duosida. Not sure why.Seems to have better build quality plugs and wire than the 3.5 years old Quick Charge Power J-Long it replaced after that one failed (first intermittent issues with the male plug switch, then just dead, and the seller didn't even want to check it after I sent it back for repair).Also, the plug fits much easier in my Honda Clarity PHEV, unlike the J-Long that was very snuggly fit and my daughter was unable to plug or unplug it. It is definitely a good fit and the overall quality seems very good.It didn't come with any warranty or code compliance literature (is it UL listed? I guess not, otherwise I'm sure it would be marked). Hopefully Amazon will make good on it if the seller fails. But I would like the seller to send me a copy of the manufacturercs warranty if he reads this.

Lasted three weeks wouldn’t work again. Got a replacement did the same thing ...... wasn’t expecting this out of a $300 cord
