You’ll take someone’s eye out with that
I saw this product across social media and thought, “hey, that looks pretty cool”.Not what I imagined at all. It’s very flimsy, it’s not by any means strong enough to whack something with (I haven’t whacked anything by the way).As soon as I opened the pack “whooosh” nearly took my eye out.But you know what really annoyed me, was when I tried to put it back together. It’s nearly impossible. It took me 5 minutes and bucket of sweat to put back something that shoots out in 1 second. Not your smoothest of magic props. I’ve refunded it now. The price is a joke for what it is. If you want one, try get a different one.

fun
son loves it. Bit dangerous on hands if not careful.

if you need your fingers its best to avoid buying this.
Very dangerous and difficult to close after you've opened it. I sliced a chunk of skin off my index finger just opening this product. The force of the opening combined with the thin aluminium removed a very decent chunk that resulted in more blood than I would care to admit.

Can’t seem to contact seller
I can’t seem to contact the seller and am having issues with the product. When arrived I shot it out. That was fine. However it didn’t go in the way it should have and ended up unraveling I’m one section. I sliced my fingers to pieces trying to ravel it back which I managed but wouldn’t shoot out anymore. I’ve since then got it to shoot but it doesn’t shoot anything like I’ve seen others at both ends only straight to the ceiling I don’t know how well it worked the first time as I got scared and it flew across the room

Good Product, just be careful
I used to own one of these a few years ago and lost it. I have just bought a new one and its just like I remember. First off, a lot of other reviews are saying about how flimsy this is, and how it is easy to harm yourself. I will try and give a few pointers on how to avoid this. Yes, it is going to break if you wack anything with it, and you'll spend the next minute re-wraping the metal around to repair it. This isn't designed to be used as a weapon but a magicians trick. If you open it how a lot of demonstrations tell you by holding the tip down with your thumb and then quickly releasing, the force of it expanding will be enough to once again break it. I would recommend using two hands and letting it expand into the palm of one hand and bringing that hand outwards. That way, you can control how quick it opens. The second point about it requiring tons of force to get back together is only because people tend to just push it in. That is how you can slice your fingers and leave ring marks all over your hand. It is a twisting motion. Grab the stick by both ends and twist the back end of the staff and pull your hands together. It should fold away a lot easier then. I hope this review has helped some people, and just remember to never point it at your eyes.

Waste of Money
Avoid! My son saved his pocket money to purchase this cane. It was quite tricky to close but he got the hang of it with lots of practice. However, in less than 24 hours it’s bent and in the bin! Son very upset that his hard pocket money has gone to waste.

Fun and easy to use
Fun to mess around with and surprise people with. Only thing I can say tho is although its thin it's still made of metal, despite the many people saying it's dangerous to use there is easy ways to avoid said dangers. For example wear think gloves the first few times using it to avoid being cut. When opening and closing it dont point it at your face or body, that should be common sense. Watch videos on how to close it via youtube because they actually really help. And dont give it to children without opening it first, if you hand a child the staff when its folded up your just asking for injuries

Take reviews with a grain of salt
A bit pricey considering comparisons elsewhere, but a good trick nonetheless. After hearing reviews and watching videos on how this thing works, I came to the conclusion before I even opened it that it extends with a high level of force. It is because of this I've had to consider whether or not there is enough room to safely open it, i.e. to make sure there are no people or objects in its way before doing so.I guess the fact there are so many people hurting themselves and being plain stupid with a peice of sheet metal, (mostly adults!) is the reason we can't have cool things anymore.Overall I am disappointed in the lack of common sense in people today, and I have very much enjoyed using this product.Protip: If something is within 59" distance of the pointy end, don't activate it. Or the staff will hit it. Due to the physical constraints of our universe.Protip#2: If you cut yourself as you're trying to reset it... Stop. You're doing it wrong. Look on YouTube for a video and don't blame the manufacturer because you're not using their product correctly. If both of these tips are observed by adults, there is no reason why this secret knowledge cannot be passed down to educate your children into following basic safety, involving spring released projectiles.Did anyone here ever have a BB gun as a kid? Same rules apply, guys.
