Reasonable tasting standard coffee. Quite mellow. Definitely not 'extra strong'.

This is lovely coffee but be warned, it's strong!

I love the Black Donkey intenso roast (ESE PODs) which is my go to coffee. Thought I'd try the "Extra Strong" but tastes somewhat more between the standard Italian Espresso and the Intenso. It's still good coffee and always packed really well, fresh and great value for money, just not as strong as I was expecting.The image is of one of the sachets which is different to the picture on the website, so maybe it was the wrong product in the box? Not returning, like I said, still good coffee, but will revert back to the Intenso

Well this can’t be bad as this must be the 10th time we have ordered it. Strong but smooth with no bitter after taste. Love it.

Used this product as a coffee pod to use with my new coffee machine but it gives me just a very weak coffee. Have 50 bags now I can do nothing with. I bought what my coffee machine advised, filter coffee pods.

Slightly dissapointed with this purchase.First, the packaging. I absolutely loved the pictures of the product as advertised. However when it arrived, only the external box had some resemblance. The individual pods where enveloped in some generic black cover with the import message as in the picture. Looks like is imported and then some stickers are applied on the box to "brand" it and the individual pods are left as imported. 50% of my decision to purchase was about the looks so dissapointed.Second, is nowhere near as strong as advertised. I have used other pods from this company (the combo ones) which I find much stronger. I would typically need a couple of these in quick succession in the morning to wake up! Strong in terms of roast level only.Finally the taste. If you love robusta is fine but nothing special for the premium price.

I love a strong coffee, I was expecting it to be a little stronger than it is but it’s pretty good coffee, I would buy again.

Absolute Enttäuschung. Der Kaffee war als Geburtstagsgeschenk gedacht, weil er allein von der Aufmachung her schon nett aussah.Gekommen sind einzeln verpackte, schlicht schwarz gehaltene Pads, lose in einem Pappkarton. Keine Spur von dem Logo. Da die Beschreibung auf Italienisch ist, kann ich noch nicht einmal sagen, ob es das ist, was ich bestellt habe.Rücknahme nicht möglich.Ganz klar KEINE Kaufempfehlung!!!Nur ein Stern, weil man was auswählen muss.
