Must have
I love these. I fell off a scooter about 2.5 years ago and unfortunately I landed on my right elbow. I knew right away that something was wrong with it. Turns out I had a small fracture in my radial head. It eventually healed but that accident was when I realized that I needed elbow pads for when riding a scooter. The next day I ordered these pads on Amazon and I won't rise without them. These pads are fantastic. They're not that expensive but they're very effective. They fit well and they have a hard shell on the outside right over the elbow. That hard shell is primarily what will protect your elbow from being injured if you have a bad fall. I've had 3 falls on my scooter since getting these elbow pads and didn't even get a scrape from any of them while wearing these pads. Obviously you never want to fall, but if you do, these pads WILL protect (and save) your elbow. I've had the same pair for over 2.5 years at this point and they work great. They don't wear down or anything. Highly recommend. Honestly, I think these pads are better than some of the more expensive elbow pads. Sometimes basic pads are better than more "sophisticated pads". Trust me....get these and you won't be sorry.

Great value
Great for elbowing a mfr, falling down, and protecting ulnar nerve from damage. Stays tight during conflict. I really like them. Breath relatively easy & stays situated properly on elbow during use & travel. Would be great for biking, roller blading, or any outdoor sports. Would not recommend for Motorcycle use. Would recommend for 6x8 use.

Smallish but works
These are relatively small (as in thickness, padding) compared to 187s. It's better than taking concrete straight to the elbow, though.

Great product, must have!
These are comfortable. They stay in place. And they work. Paid for themselves on the first day by saving me a trip to the ER. Protect yourself!

Great pads
I bought these about a month into fresh meat training for flat track quad derby. I used the measurement / sizing description from the manufacturer website and I found the fit to be correct. At first I thought I couldn't get them tight enough, but after some movement and working up activity on the track, they were perfect. The sleeve is going to simply fit, not snugly and not loosely; that is how it is supposed to fit. The straps don't cut into my arm and circulation because of the buffering of the sleeve and because I am able to buckle them for a close fit and adjust the tightness as I go through my drills and workout. I have yet to use them in bouts, but they are good protection and reasonably priced for the good protection when you are going to be falling the most. I would recommend them to dabblers and those just getting started in quad derby. You might as well spend the $30 or so bucks now and avoid the hundreds to thousands on a hospital bill if you were to fall on your arm or break your elbow wearing cheap pads or no padding at all.

I like these Elbow Pads
They offer a lot of protection compared to my old ones. Although to be honest, they are not quite as comfortable as my old ones because they cover more area and are slightly bulkier. (I feel its a good compromise - I never notice it when I skate - only when I'm putting them on.) I also like the way they are contoured near the elbow - they offer greater skid protection when you hit the ground. You can wear them with the Velcro strap or the elastic band. I prefer the Velcro.

Best pads I've found
Bought these in a complete set for Onewheeling. Hands down the best pads I've seen for the price. FYI I bought the discounted "slightly used" ones and they were pretty much brand new. I think someone dropped them once or something, small ding in the hard plastic, meh I preferred saving the money. One thing is that I wish I had bought larges in pretty much everything I bought. I have a tendency to get bigger sizes to avoid it being too small and unusable. The upside is that even though these are bigger than need be they dont slip at all and when I've fallen they held fine.

Ordered xl almost need xxl not a big guy
First and essentially only issue is that the fabric behind the retention straps is tight for an xl to the point where if Iโm at a spot to go skating and my arms are warmed up these are annoying to put on and I find myself not taking the time to put them on. The Velcro retention strap has some slack left but there is a flexible fabric behind the straps that has to be pulled over your hands and up your arms. Iโm an not excessively muscular or fat and have normal adult arms I feel and I feel the xl size should have much more room or they need to offer an xxl size. If I want to wear a long sleeve under which I havenโt tried yet I am sure it would be frustrating or so uncomfortable I wouldnโt even do it. Worst case scenario if I gain more mass in my arms I will end up cutting the fabric for more room. Otherwise they do the job Iโve crashed once in them so far and still have a functional elbow with no skin left on the concrete. Padding is adequate looks are acceptable but not exiting or cool looking personally but their just their to save you skin so eh meh. The best thing they could do is creat some adjustability to trench able fabric behind the straps or separate them so they donโt need slid up your arms OR sell an XXL size. Also more colors would be cool. Be safe !

These fit well and are very comfortable to wear. They have protected me through more than a couple of spills at the roller rink and I love them. I would recommend these to anyone who needs skate / board gear.
