I use this root to cleanse me and my home. I like making baths and home sprays with it. Haven’t used it internally yet. But so far I love it. Works great for me. Will get back to ya on the taste.

Small pieces, almost crushed. Wonderful flavor/potency. Great for teas and potions. Another reviewer complained that this was not the 'root' they were looking for to cook a chicken. This is the same root sometimes used for culinary purposes (it is a type of celery, after all), it's just that it is 'cut and sifted', so you may have difficulty using small pieces to flavor a dish. Still you could just put it in an herb bag or tea ball and you'll be fine. ^_^

Its just old and faint smelling, really need to smash it down to fiber to release the smell

not the Angelica I want. I want the root to cook chicken. But it is herbal tea!
