Patricia does a heart warming job of describing the ancient jewish wedding and how it relates to us. This in itself is worth the purchase price of the book. Then she goes on to explain about a Bride being ready and making herself ready and some sobering scriptures are shared that many people might gloss over in the Bible.She shares scripture after scripture and if you are not living according to what they say it could pull you up short with your assurance that you are going to heaven.I found to book promising and sobering. Unless the Father had already been teaching me about being a part of the Bride of Christ and showing me how she is expected to live during this time of preparation, I would have been shocked and alarmed at what I read in this book. Instead, I was so encouraged to see that I am hearing my Lord's voice, too, and He is helping those who want Him to make themselves ready to be married to Him. This is a must read for any and every believer in Christ. If you don't know already, take the opportunity to learn how to be prepared for Him as His bride. Even though you would be blessed, don't just settle for being a guest at the wedding banquet while you are called to a much greater relationship! Many are called but few are chosen.

Good information on how to look forward and be prepared for Christ's return. Interesting info on Jewish traditions and customs concerning marriage in the days of Jesus. Only gave it four stars because I was surprised at how thin it was, more like a booklet than a book. Overpriced for being such a small book.

The Book inspires, motivates and encourages modern day Christians to not only seek to understand the deeper cultural context of Old and New Testament wedding symbolism but to get themselves ready as Brides-in-waiting for the coming Messiah

Every christian needs to read this and heed its Truth. It has changed my life. ..my walk with God. ..and how i consider the things i do. I fell in love with the Lord so much more through reading this because it owned my eyes to God's design for us.
