Powder Puff and Spurs: The story of James Cathey and the Girls Rodeo Association

I LOVED this book. I could be a little biased because of knowing Jackie Worthington so well and she is mentioned in the book many times. However, I think anyone who loves rodeo and especially "women's rodeo" will find much to enjoy and learn about in this book. GREAT PICTURES and wonderful stories of the women who started the Women's Professional Rodeo Association, first known as the GRA. Worth every penny.

This is a very attractive book that covers a niche history in American cowboy/girl history. Cathey & Cathey did a very nice job taking a large sampling from their father's photograph collection to construct a well-written narrative.
