Superior Reversible Down Alternative Blanket, Bed Blanket and Oversized Throw Blanket with Silky Soft Striped Shell - King Bed, Sage

I would give this a 4.5 star if I could, but it isn't an option. This is a very warm, heavy, and comfortable blanket; I can't give it a 5 star because of one issue. I washed it once, and it started losing it's stuffing. The stuffing material began 'pilling' and sticking out of the comforter in an extremely noticable manner, and it has an unusual texture. If you had a pill shaver, and were really interested in cleaning it up, you could make it back to normal, but I lack both. I used it in my bed room for a couple months, and now it lives in my car trunk incase I need a warm blanket on the road.It's really warm, and it was fantastic for the first couple months, but be sure to wash it carefully.

Is there a way to leave two reviews to total 10 stars? Others may not want this blanket, but for me, it was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a lightly puffy, lightweight, but medium warmth blanket, and for me, this is absolutely it. I hate heavy weight on my while I sleep but I'm tired of being cold. I love the crisp feeling of the cover and it has enough filling to keep me warm. It is huge and covers my king size bed with room to spare on all sides (I've had other comforters that cover the bed, but as soon as two people go under the covers, it is so short!).I love this so much, I've asked for the twin size to use as a blanket while lounging on the couch. I might not leave my house now.

I was very cognizant of other people's reviews on this blanket and I will agree/disagree with a couple of things.1. It is indeed not flowing on the sides (as shown in the picture), at least for the king size I got. But in actuality, this was better for *me* because we only have our box spring for our recently purchased king size sleep number bed (the box spring thing that comes with those type beds, other sleep number customers would know what I mean)..2. A poster mentioned that when they washed it, fluffy things were coming out of the blanket..I have washed mine once and only minimal fluff was noticeable...Not bad..3. Someone else mentioned that the material of the blanket itself felt "cheap", I wholeheartedly disagree..It is actually quite soft and silky feeling..It is very much comparable to "sateen"..This is how both my husband and I felt was the best way to describe it.As far as my overall rating, this blanket is outstanding..I love the feel of the material, the warmth/thickness is perfect for both my husband (who gets hot/sweats over night), and for me (who gets cold and does not sweat one bit over night)..It pleased both our temperatures surprisingly..I got the grey color and it is beautiful, goes perfect with our Calvin Klein sheets..It looks exactly like inthe picture..Then there is the price *thumbs up* ...We just wanted something to have for now until we find the perfect bed-in-a-bag type deal for our new king size bed, and this was a perfect buy for that..So, all in all, I HIGHLY recommend this blanket :)

I have never been so excited when I opened a package! This looks and feels luxurious! It was so hard to not just crawl in bed. Matte/plain finish on one side, silky/stripes on the other. Absolutely gorgeous!

BEST BLANKET EVER!! I am partial to down only, but decided to give this a shot based on the reviews. This blanket is extremely light weight, so it confuses me how it can be so warm! I live in Oregon State and it's the end of January ~ gets cold here at night but I actually have to turn my comforter down and not use it. I also have a heated mattress cover and don't use that either ~ just the sheet and blanket. It's also warm when I get into bed even if I am cold. I have not had the need to pre-heat my bed since I received this blanket. Last, the cost is incredible! I would Most Definitely Recommend this product!!

Helluva deal! I love this and it fits my bed perfectly. It is an interesting fabric to sleep under and it's always sure to remind me when I need to lotion my heels. I read reviews that warn of fuzzys after a wash so I'm a bit weary of that day. Other than that looming (potential) disappointment I'm overall satisfied with the product and the arrive time was impressive as well.

Received 1st blanket & it had writing in pencil on various places on the fabric. Returned & received replacement today. This one had a hole in the fabric & writing on the fabric in pink magic marker. Look over carefully for defects if you purchase! Not willing to risk a third time-will find something else.

It is light weight and does keep you warm at the same time. It did fuzz a little when washed but I guess that is to be expected. So far nothing is coming apart. I'll update as I use it.*update: the inside is coming out all over the place. See pictures.

En mi caso el color chocolate si es igual a la imagen, la puse en la lavadora y seguí las instrucciones como lo indica la etiqueta y no hubo problema alguno.Material suave al tacto, pero inevitable la sensación a plástico lo cual en tiempos de calor la vuelve un sauna, lo que me hace extrañar el algodón y ponerle 4 estrellas, si tienes un clima controlado como aire acondicionado o al menos un ventilador esto último no será un problema.Si la colocas del modo habitual no se verá colgada como en la imagen, necesitas girarla para que cubra un poco más los laterales.

I've had this for over a year now and it has held up beautifully. Very easy to clean, just washer and dryer, nothing special. No rips or tears at all, so the quality is very very good. As for the thickness - this is for someone who hates big puffy down or synthetic comforters. My husband can barely stand more than a thin blanket, so this is our compromise. I've found it to be warm enough and its very very soft (can be used with a duvet cover or not). I would definitely recommend this, and I will buy another one whenever this one wears out (which judging by it now probably wont be for another few years).

i bought a $250 down duvet several years ago and can't use it because it's just too hot. so i bought one of these shortly after and loved it. i've just bought another in "plum". beautiful, and deceptively warm despite the light weight. i'll use it all winter, along with a flannel sheet.

I was quite pleased with the appearance and colour selection of this product. It also arrived quickly. As other reviewers have hinted, I would agree that it is mostly a three-season blanket - perfect weight and warmth for much of the year, but perhaps requiring another blanket in the winter.

Nos gustaron mucho! Es un cobertor ligero pero a la vez cubre muy bien del frío. La textura de la tela es muy suave, muy agradable. Compramos el tamaño individual/twin y quedaron muy bien de tamaño para las camitas.

Realmente dudo que sea de algodón, se siente como acrilán, es muy resbalosa y es verdad que es caliente, pero por el material hace sudar y no calienta, quema.Sí se ve muy linda ya puesta, pero no es cómoda

De la mousse sort par endroit en plein centre de la couverture .. .donc elle ne doit pas survive longtemp. Pour une chambre d'invité ok...pour une chambre des maitres un meilleur investisement est de mise .

De inicio parece un buen producto, pero al paso de unas cuantas lavadas se empieza ver pelusienta y corriente. Llevo un año con ella y ya estoy considerando seriamente en darla de baja.
