Very good stainless steel funnel with stainless steel strainer and fine mesh nylon filter. I use it for straining my home made kombucha before the second fermentation stage and I have been able to get a lovely clear finished product. Also it does not take up much room in the utensil drawer as I have a larger funnel that I use for bottling homemade jams and chutney. The price is reasonable for the item.

The funnel itself seems of good quality, there’s a basic internal filter made of metal and the mesh filter which you can also insert. The mesh filter is very fine, depending on what you’re using it for it can be too fine and also quite hard to clean, this is very dependent of course on what you intend to use it for. For me it was too fine but the funnel itself and internal filter are very useful.

This is perfect for bottling and the filter is high quality and super effective. Both funnel and filter feel light and so aren't top heavy when filling bottles, but they are robust and strong materials. Using weekly and these will last a long time.

The funnels fit into each other which is handy. Good range of funnels sizes. Works well and easy to clean with the brushes. A nice all round set for the price.

I wasn't too convinced about the the filter until I tested it on a homemade chicken bone broth that had tiny pieces of bones in it. It filtered the broth to absolute perfection and was handy and easy to use. For cleaning I stuck it in the dishwasher (just to test if it would work) and it came out perfectly clean. Very, very happy with this purchase.

I was just looking for a funnel, then I saw this, it also has a filter to catch things like cork bit in a wine bottle, great idea and good quality

Genau nach solchen Filterb habe ich lange gesucht. Zur Weihnachtszeit mache ich selber diverse Liköre und um kleine feine Frucht-und Gewürzreste aus dem Likör zu filtern eignen sich diese Filter super! Alles was nicht in den fertigen Likör gehört bleibt im Filter hängen. Habe es früher mit Tee-/Kaffeefiltern versucht, aber kleine Gewürze rutschen ständig mit durch. Das passiert bei diesem feinen Filter nicht. Er ist aber wirklich sehr fein. Da ich nur "dünnflüssige" Liköre mache genau das richtige, ich denke für Eierlikör, der ja doch etwas zähflüssiger ist, sind sie zu fein. Lässt sich einfach mit warmem Wasser wieder reinigen und funktioniert bisher wie es soll. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da dieses Weihnachten zum ersten Mal im Einsatz.

Finalmente ho trovato dei filtri che funzionano!!! Produco spesso liquori fatti in casa ed ero stanco dei soliti metodi di filtraggio che davano risultati pessimi/mediocri (colini, garze, cotone idrofilo, teli cotone, filtri carta, ecc.) Ho voluto provare questi filtri della HAUSPROFI ed ho scelto di prendere il kit filtri 200 + 400 mesh 13cm Ho appena filtrato 3 litri di liquore con ottimi risultati!!! Ho fatto 2 passaggi con filtro 200 mesh eliminando già il 70/80% dei residui. Dopo un giorno ho notato ancora una presenza minima di residui in sospensione nel liquore. Ho fatto ulteriori 2 passaggi con filtro 400 mesh, l'operazione ha richiesto più tempo dato la fitta trama del filtro, il liquido filtrava lentamente quasi goccia a goccia, ma ne è valsa la pena perché il risultato è un liquore chiaro e limpido paragonabile quasi ai "liquori industriali". Soddisfatto al 100% Consiglio a tutti questo prodotto.
