Ok. I'm rocking a Schiit magni / modi with a Beyerdinamic T1, and used the cables that you can buy with the Dac/Amp at the Schiit store.Let me make this clear. Those cables are reasonably priced and give you a really good audio quality. Schiit fanboy here.THEN you spend money on this, and the difference is... clearly audible. I'm not an audiophile on any level, and it was hard to convince myself to shell out this amount of $$ for USB cable, but... I wish I've done it before. I also bought the Wireworld Oasis 8 RCA cable set too (in for the penny, in for the pound) and boy... I can hear more details in the music, I can better distinguish between individual instruments, and honestly RAMMSTEIN never sounded so good before (except on live concerts of course)Wow.Would buy it again. Will annoy my friends to buy it :)

Wow, what an improvement!
I run a MacBook into my Music Fidelity M5si integrated amplifier. I was originally using an old printer cable I had, thinking it would not matter because it was just streams of bits going to the M5si's DAC, not like an analog cable where signal degradation is well understood. The printer cable worked fine for a while but started cutting out and requiring a removal / reinsertion to get the music back. So I figured it was time to replace it and decided to look for a bit nicer cable, just for reliability. After much reading I learned that the USB cable quality DOES matter for music and there are even $500 USB cables for high-end audio use! Well I am not that dedicated to fidelity, so I tried this Ultraviolet cable at around $60...Instantly I could hear the difference in the music with nothing else changed! The sound is clearer, more separation of the sounds & instruments, and considerably more dynamic range and bass response. I guess I was starving the DAC with my old crappy printer cable? I don't know, but this little cable is a game-changer for me.It also appears to be built very well, so hopefully it will last for years to come.

Thinner than the old one
I have the older versions of the Ultraviolet and Chroma USB cables and those are much thicker than this one. I was surprised at how skinny the Ultraviolet 8 USB cable is when I opened the packaging. At least it doesn't negatively affect the sound quality.

Top shelf.
Amazing sound quality. Reliable build. Super fast shipping. And it’s a pretty purple. Flat cable is sleek and easy to handle with a smooth matte finish. I’m grateful for this upgrade in audio cables.
