Very tasty. First time trying and kinda like fig.

I recently purchased a tamarind fruit packet with high hopes of enjoying the unique flavor and tanginess of this exotic fruit. However, my experience was nothing short of a complete letdown. The tamarind fruit packet I received was dry and stale, making it completely inedible. It was so disappointing that I had no choice but to throw it away.Firstly, upon opening the packet, I was met with a strong whiff of staleness. The tamarind fruits were noticeably dry and lacked the characteristic juiciness and plumpness that one expects from fresh tamarind. It was evident that the product had been poorly stored or had surpassed its shelf life.I strongly urge the manufacturer to improve their quality control and ensure that their tamarind fruit packets are fresh and of high quality. No consumer deserves to spend their hard-earned money on a product that is virtually inedible. As for me, I will not be purchasing this brand again, and I caution others to steer clear if they desire a truly enjoyable tamarind experience.

I have a bonsai collection, one tree being a Tamarind. I had never tried Tamarind before and here where I live, I can't find it anywhere. I picked this up on Amazon to try Tamarind for the first time. And it's an interesting fruit to try. Im not going to describe step by step as to how to eat this. You can find videos on You Tube which show it. That's how I learned how to eat this item. This box contained more than enough Tamarind for the price. It's sweet, it's tangy, and it's more like a paste that something to 'chew' on. I am very happy with my purchase. Now Tamarind is new to me so I can't compare this to any other one out there or even my own tree since it hasn't bore fruit yet. But I did like this alot and will likely order this again.

The packages that arrived were not the ones shown in the picture. Taste is good enough but not as good as I remember. Not sure if it's a different product or just different packaging. Nonetheless, I would say these are definitely worth the money. There was only one pod in the entire package that was too dry to eat. All the rest were perfect. Will buy again once my current supply runs out.

I enjoyed these lots of times but have ceased ordering them because I'm annoyed and disappointed with the randomness of rotten tamarinds. Evety other one is inedible. Disgusting because it takes away from my enjoyment and I'm not getting what I paid for. I used to love them so much.

I received it in no time, it came in 90 % unbroken (tamarind pods are super easy to break on shipping)Love the unique flavor it has. I could eat the whole box but but it’s not advisable. :)

Very fresh! Interesting flavor reminds me very much of dates. Be careful theres a hard seed which the fruit must be removed from. A grapevine type "stalk" or "root" is embedded in the fruit & needs to be removed before placing in mouth. I find them interesting & a way to stave off hunger before dinner. Or if I crave something sweet, it satisfies with very little calorie worry. The fruit must be taken from it's crackly shell, the fiber like root stem has to be removed and then pop it into the mouth, sucking the fruit off the seed. Sweet, interesting & time consuming to get into, I give 2 thumbs up!!
