Presto 85772 Pressure Canner Steam Gauge Analog Display

I’ve had the same pressure cooker for 30 years. I was having a hard time finding a location that did testing on your pressure gauge. So I decided to buy a new pressure gauge because the price was excellent. It fit perfectly and it works perfectly. I was thrilled with this purchase.

I was canning and my gauge broke. It caused my batch to fail. I bought two of these and I have tried them both. They work great! Keep an extra of this on hand!

Easy to switch out. I like the new gasket, though hopefully it will hold up well with time and pressure. The old canner has fed our family thousands of meals, and having the correct weight on the gauge could not be more important. So if you are thinking your old gauge might be off, just spend the money to replace it. Some things you just don't want to risk. Having a proper OEM gauge is one of those things.

This presto canner gauge is perfect for my canner, I had run this canner for a while not sure if my gauge is accurate or not so I got this one to replace old one . Just to be safe.

Hard to grade on accuracy when you there isn't a safe way to test it. It says there is pressure when you can't open the lid.
