For the past 30+ years, I have only been able to wear SAS shoes, and didn't think I would ever find others that I could wear. I decided to give this a try after I saw how the prices on SAS had gone up so much. I was hesitant, but paying half of what I would pay for the others, I went for it. I love their looks, the quality, the comfort, the feels, and everything about them. I am so happy I took the chance to buy this shoes.

The Softspots are very hard. They are no longer "soft." They have what appears to be a plastic sole that is extremely hard. Walking in them you feel a hard floor in these shoes! The soles didn't appear to have long wear.

My mother, 94 years old, only wears these shoes. We had a hard time finding them locally. They are perfect for her. Fit well and she feels confident walking in them.

Bought these for my mom to replace ones she had worn out ~ she says they fit perfect from the first time she put them on.

These items are far too narrow in the toebox. The arch support could be good, but with an ill-fitting shoe it ruins that, and the arch supports are not the best I've seen anyway. I should have known better than to buy a shoe online. Disaster. They really need to conform to standard shoe sizing.

My mother loves these shoes. I was so happy when I saw them on Amazon.

I've owned half a dozen pairs of Softspots and really like them, though the size 6 I purchased seems small. Is it my imagination, or manufacturers making shoes smaller to save leather? Still, you can't beat Softspots for long lasting shoes and good quality soles.
