On her 18th birthday, Clary Fray discovers that her mundane life is over: she is a Shadowhunter – a human-angel hybrid who protect other mundanes (humans) from demons. When her mother is kidnapped, Clary is led into the Shadow World by the mysterious Jace. Brooklyn, NY is still her home, but now she walks among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves. Is she ready to uncover her family’s past, and live her destiny?

Loved it!
The videos come on time, and the picture quality was excellent. Wish I could find season 2.

Great series
I received the DVD series promptly - in great condition. Since Shadowhunters isn't widely available on DVD in the US, I ordered the Region 2 DVD, which I watch on my computer. The DVD plays perfectly, and I was able to follow the storyline a little better. It's a complex story and I know it pretty well, since I've read through the book series several times. The casting was good - I enjoyed Simon and Alex especially (gorgeous actors!) I really enjoyed watching, but I would have liked it much better if they stuck to the book better. (I said the same thing about the movie.) Going from book to movie or TV doesn't mean you have to change all of the basic elements - it just upsets the fan. I'm tempted to start writing scripts instead of novels, but that's a topic for another day. Still a fun show to binge watch on a rainy day.

product description on amazon website incorrect .
I few months ago I purchased a multi-region Sony Bluerray player in order to enjoy UK TV and film productions that are not always available in the US market. I have no complaints about the player. It works very well regarding picture, sound, features and settings. My problem is with the region 2 DVDs and BR discs and the attendant product descriptions and packaging pictures. I always read the product descriptions and only purchase Blueray or DVDs, usually a bit cheaper, that are described as having “subtitles: English” or English CC. This is has turned out to be extremely “iffy”. In my limited experience so far, 75% of the region2 product descriptions claiming English subtitles had NO subtitles; I have also received some products that were exactly as advertised and that has kept me coming back.Amazon's return policy is very good, but returning discs to England is not covered and is quite expensive. We paid $25 dollars to return a product that cost us $60 to begin with for a product that we did not order, i.e., the product was not as advertised. If you check my orders/returns, you will see that each one state “subtitles: English”; none of the “Shadowhunters” DVDs that I opened has subtitles or CC; the pictures and audio were just fine and the options menu was available, but no subtitles or CC were displayed and the packaging back also had no subtitles or CC identified. The problem, as I see it is this: I should not have to pay anything when the product that arrives is not the product described. If Amazon is unable to get oxfordshireengland and rarewaves-imports to properly advertize their products, then they should not be allowed access to the Amazon Marketplace.I have learned a lesson and will only order from marketplace products with US addresses, e.g., Moviemars, in order to reduce my cost of return should the products are other than advertised. However, I am hoping that Amazon will exercise a bit more control over the advertising that it publishes on its website.

DVD does not work in U.S.
I was very disappointed to find out i could not play the DVD on my player. I enjoyed reading all the books and watching the series on TV. And even tho I will receive my money back I had to pay half for postage to send it back. And the company will charge me a percentage also. So I am out more money than the total cost of the DVD. Very unsatisfied.
