Review of Basin Hair Shampoo Mixer tap Faucet with Shower Head.This an item I have been meaning to obtain for a long time, a one handed hair shampoo and rinse shower head used by Hairdressers.Basically this a mini shower to fit to a two tap basin, instead of taps the hot/cold mixer tap replaces one tap and the shower head utilizes the second tap position for the hose to retract below the basin.The mini one handed shower head easily used as small in diameter, more directional and less over spray so water retained within the bowl area, one could utilise a formal hairdresser bowl with front indent to accommodate the neck but this not really essential for a residential setting as when washing one’s own hair the usual position is face down and not up as per hair salons.The kit comes complete with all fittings except waste water drain and overflow, the mixer tap the usual mixer tap fitting, point noted is that the basin tap hole diameter is large enough to accommodate the mixer tap (minimum 32mm) diameter as three hoses are attached on the bottom, hot, cold and the shower head outlet hose, the same diameter required for the hose seat on the other basin tap hole, the basin no more than 30mm in thickness to allow hose attachment after fitting.Mixer tap fitted the hose passed up through the shower head seat opposite the mixer tap and shower head connected, the hose then slid back down inside the seat to hide the hose below the basin, the shower head then sits in the seat all neat and tidy.This kit seemingly well made and complete even with a roll of PTFE tape included, whilst this designed for basin fitting it could just as easily be fitted to a shelf next to the basin, the hoses hidden by a plinth below, a nice idea to good to miss.

Item received in good condition. The fitting of this is actually very simple and easy process and no specialized tools required either which is great.The fitting end of this is a nice heavy weight and feels a good quality build. The shower head end on the other hand is very lightweight which I think they have designed like this on purpose to make hair washing easier and not having to hold a heavy shower head. I like the way it feels in your hand too, you don't have a big long handle to hold, you grasp the actual shower head itself and it makes for a really easy to control hair wash.The casings over the tubing are good and look like they will be hard wearing. This is a very nice set up and will be a good addition to any hairdressers or home set up.
