We use these under a claw foot tub that has a regular rail shower curtain so water splashes onto the floor. There's a drain in the floor, but these help stop any water from seeping in front of the tub and into the bath mat. They work really well and the best thing about them is that they dry relatively quickly when placed in the sun. I've tried other water sopper uppers that have gel in them, but forget about drying and reusing them even though they say you can because they take FOREVER to dry - if they ever do. These will dry after a day or so in the sun, so I am very happy about that.Also I did receive 3 of these per order.

Total lifesaver! I bought these initially to help with a very drafty window. They worked well for that. A few weeks later we ended up with a leaky pipe in the laundry room. After going through countless towels to soak up the water I remembered these were good for absorbing water too. I can't believe how much water they soaked up. These saved me a ton of time cleaning up the water. Once the pipe was fixed I laid these outside to dry for a few hours and put them back on the drafty window. Definitely got my money's worth with these!

I purchased these water snakes a year ago so my review is based on experience. These are much, much better than other similar ones I've owned. The absorption is fast and the outer fabric is very strong. Yes, these are pricey but worth every penny. If you have drainage, water or any moisture problem, these snakes will meet your needs. Highly recommended!!

Ugly but effective, we have an older fridge that constantly leaks on the floor. We tried paper towels they didn’t work. We tried throw rugs they ended up getting rotted. We tried towels mildew and wetness. I decided to go for it and purchase these water snakes I’ve been thinking about buying them for a long time. I got the idea when I was doing research about how people clean up their homes after a flood. And this was a product that people used. I like it because I don’t have to wash it, it does not smell like mildew or mold, it’s durable, it’s soaks up all the water but doesn’t feel wet, and it’s lasted me a year. However for somebody that’s really has a nice house and has beautiful Decour it’s not something that looks great in your home every day. I thought I would just have to use it occasionally however because it’s so effective with the water leaking I use it every day. It’s really helped and fact it completely solved the problem of the wet floor. I like it because you can adjust it to fit around corners it’s soft and you can adjust the shape and form so it’s easy to use in that way. I haven’t had to wash it. But I will say that it’s really helps with our water leaking problem for the fridge and because we’re on a really tight budget we were able to buy a new fridge and we needed a fix for it right away because it was damaging the wood molding. So I highly recommend this it’s also great for trapping water And keeping a wet surface from becoming damaged

Good around door frames with slight drafts or leaks. Saved our basement a few times from minor rain leaks under the door.

I purchased 9 of these water snakes in two separate orders. The first pack of 3 arrived in brown fabric and were well-stuffed and absorbent. They worked well. Then I ordered the very same item via “but it again,” — except I purchased two packs of 3 — and those arrived in grey fabric and stuffed with about half as much absorbent material. THEY ARE WORTHLESS! photos show the two deliveries, one effective, one a useless rip-off. Don’t trust this company!

Purchased two sets of these for my basement (unfinished). We have had some leaking during heavy rainstorms and were using towels and fans to mitigate leaks coming in. I bought two sets of these after our last heavy rainstorm which was months ago, and yesterday we had another. I already had six of these placed in the corner areas where leaks were occurring. At this point I was already used to seeing some water creep in. I look this morning to check the spots, and there was almost no sign of water until you were looking for it. The water snakes soaked it all up. So glad I bought these as they saved me another headache and most importantly give me a little peace of mind.

I bought some of these twice before from 2 different companies at different times a few years ago. I put them in the space between regular window and storm window in winters. So this was my third order. Since I put one in with one from another company I cant say that easy if it is better or worse in working, but what is worse is this dusty stuff that comes out of these that the old ones from elsewhere did not have. I says not to worry but you can brush them shake them, smack them to try to get the stuff off and they still dont look clean. The material used inside must be different than the other ones and this dusty stuff must the the absorbent material coming through the cloth. Neither of the ones that are older do that. So this must be some other kind of filling that isnt very pleasant. I have no idea whats inside either but the others never did this at all. Im not pleased with these.
