Fantasia Materials: 2 lbs Natural Agate Rough Stones from Madagascar

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the pink rose quartz and I don't know if I got lucky but I am super excited about the lot I got. I'm a rock nerd/hounder so I know what I'm looking for. I am so sceptical to order rocks online. Especially Pink Quartz or Labradorite in raw state. Basically every rose quartz stone has a flash of rainbow in it which tells me they are authentic. It is hard to get your hands on pink quartz that has great pink color. They often appear light pink or white. Also, it isn't hard for sellers to spoof stones either, you see it a lot of you now what you're looking for. For example, plastics and died glass being sold as pink quartz or heat treated Amethyst being sold for a higher price as yellow Citrine. Therefore, I'm very happy with the quality of these stones. They are beautiful and legit. They are what I was looking for. I did weigh the stones and the bag of stones weighed little over 2lbs. Tip for those who don't already know: if the stones permit (not all stones & minerals are safe to wet in water), wetting them with a little water will expose the stones true colors and forms. Also, natural sunlight is your best friend when it comes to inspecting stones. Stones do not look the same with indoor lighting as they in natural sunlight. Helps with photo taking of stones as well :)

Absolutely beautiful!!! The pieces I received were generous sized and still intact. The few pieces that were broken are still quite useful for orgonite or jewelry work. Other reviewers complained about the lack of the "aurora borealis" effect but mine were quite stunning for being rough pieces. I was seeing a beautiful glow pre-washed inside the bag.I know it can vary from batch to batch because they are natural (and you cannot control nature) but try washing them in cold water with a gentle brush (like a toothbrush) and then place them in sunlight before full judgement. Also rough stone will hide a lot of the stone's brilliance so if you are not cabbing, tumbling or polishing them you may not see a lot of the colourful effects but they are there. I have a strange love of rough stone so I will wet sand a few but keep the rest as is.I only washed 5 pieces to take pics and you can really see the beautiful colours even with my crappy tablet camera.In the 3 lb bag I received 46 stones... Most were quite large (small palm size) and some smaller 1-2 inch pieces. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy the 5 lb from this company the next time I desire more!!! Highly recommended!!!

This is my first time ordering mine rough, I was a little disappointed, not enough to return, figured i'd play around and practice with it, Fantasia was very good in processing my order and getting it to me, I don't know the grade of this rough, there is a wide range of pieces in the pack, a few were just monochromatic, a few pieces were nicely striped, some pieces were small or thin, other pieces were a nice size, I ended up grading the stones myself into three groups of good, better, best as related to what was in the pack and ended up with 3 close to equal piles, like I said i'm a first time buyer, and maybe my expectations were to high, I have ordered some more product from Fantasia that they have graded as "AAA" this should give me a comparism to better understand the product...

I'm still in the process of tumbling these stones, but the beauty is already amazing. I didn't think I'd like petrified wood so much, but these stones have a lot of character much like tiger eye, but different as well.I am more pleased with these stones than I expected to be.

The high quality of many of the stones was amazing, and I was amazed that so many of the stones were that good. Since Labradorite varies a lot, I'm used to finding just a few good stones in any shipment. This was the best lot I've ever gotten. The pictures led me to think maybe I might get some pieces with that really deep blue that isn't too common. There were a lot of stones with some of that blue, and a few stones had entire blue surfaces on one or two sides. A number of stones had a sort of rainbow-like effect with blue adjacent to aqua or yellow, then yellow followed by orange, ending in mauve. That is a pattern you can see occasionally but it isn't real common. Many of the stones had two entire opposite surfaces with color. I was just astonished at the quality. It is true, at least in dim indoor late afternoon light it was, that at first glance it just looked like a pile of mid-range grey rocks in a box, and I didn't expect much. But then I started washing up a few individual rocks, and the quality was just fantastic, so I washed up a few more, and those were excellent too. I still haven't gotten through them all, but am ordering a second lot now, even though I don't need more, but I'm really curious to know if getting so many rocks of such high quality in one shipment was just a lucky fluke.

Smooth transaction and very fast shipping. The stones were OK. I got three pieces with very nice flash but I have no idea what I'm going to do with the rest of them yet. The majority had very little flash even when wet and no success with investigative grinding and cutting. I will probably just toss them in the tumbler and hope for the best. Most of my pieces looked like they were left overs where someone had cut the quality flash out and packaged the remaining rock which had a few small specs of flash. Hopefully they look better once tumbled but I feel these will be pretty much useless for what I wanted to do with them.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the quartz stones for a resin project I’m working on and couldn’t be happier! I got a Smokey quartz chunk in the mix, so I used that I’m my project as well. Very satisfied and will be using this supplier again.
