Amazon Basics 12-in-1 Magnetic Ratchet Screwdriver Set, Silver and Black

This isn’t a particularly large screwdriver (just under 24cm), so it’s not ideal for heavy‑duty work, but it’s excellent for everyday jobs around the house. The bit clip feels sturdy, and the bits themselves seem strong. Even if one breaks, they’re a standard size, so replacements are easy to find. The ratchet works smoothly with a reassuring click and makes screwing in or out much easier. The magnetic tip is useful too — it holds both the bits and the screws firmly in place. If you don’t have space for a full set of screwdrivers but still want a good variety of bits, this is a very practical alternative. It has a solid selection of bits and stores neatly in a drawer without taking up much room. A recommended product.

A decent quality screwdriver that is easy to use. It’s got a good ratchet mechanism, as you’d expect, and the 12 screwdriver bits are all stored neatly in the top of the screwdriver. For the price I’d recommend it.

I've had this for about a year now. It lives in a drawer in the hall, and it gets used for all those jobs where one screw needs tightening up and going to get a decent tool from the garage would take far longer than the job itself. It feels sturdy enough, and I've yet to find a job that it couldn't do - but then again, I've not actually tried to do anything particularly heavy with it because I'll go and get some proper tools out if I'm doing anything that takes more than a couple of minutes. It has a decent set of bits, and they're neatly stored away, again adding to the versatility. I don't think it would survive prolonged, heavy use - but that's not why you but a cheap multi-bit ratchet screwdriver, is it? As something to keep in the house in addition to some better tools for when I need them, it's great. Should it be the only tool you own? Probably not.

Surprised just how good this was for a bargain buy. I've had a Stanley ratchet screwdriver for 20 years and a Snap-on for about 30 years but having recently misplaced both of those, needed something to get me out of trouble so bought this for about £8 - worth every penny and hasn't failed to undo/do up whatever i've asked of it so far. Bad points are the ratchet isn't as smooth as the other two and it has much fewer teeth in the ratchet needing a laarger arc before the next tooth is engaged but i can live with that for the price. Again someething i can live with is the relatively cheap feel but that said, i think that's just the finish because it feels well made. Conclusion - definitely a good buy for the money.

Great product. Very practical and functional, and the screwdriver feels sturdy and well made.

Like others, I’d been pondering over whether to buy a very-well made screwdriver recently produced by a well-known tech YouTube channel but at nearly £100 once delivery and customs duty were factored in, it was something I couldn’t justify. So I looked at other brands and decided that, for my own needs, something fairly basic would probably do the job. Is the Amazon Basics screwdriver the best on the market? No. It’s shaft has a fair bit of wobble and the ratchet mechanism isn’t perfect. But at under £10 it’s an absolute steal. I own a decent collection of tools and I’ll happily take ones which do 90% as good a job at 10% of the price, all day long. The push-button bit storage in the handle is convenient, it’s nicely weighted and grippy, and the knurling on the shaft is excellent. This screwdriver will do most jobs with ease. It’s perhaps less-suited to small, intricate jobs although it’ll still do them just fine. The magnets aren’t the greatest but I haven’t lost a screw or a bit yet. So if, like me, you want a ratcheting screwdriver but can’t justify the expense of some of the branded products, I’d highly recommend giving this a go, especially if it’s something you’ll only use a few times per month or less. For the price, it’s probably the best value item in my toolbox.

Around here the most common screwhead is a Posidriv. Occasionally l encounter Philips and flatheads and the increasingly common Torx, but 90% of the time its Posidriv. This is a good product with one major flaw - the supplied bits do not include any Posidriv bits. It has everything else. I understand that Posidriv is not common in North America hence the likely reason for its absence here. I had a spare Posidriv bit which l swapped into this ratcheting screwdriver and it works perfectly, so problem solved. Otherwise the tool feels pretty well made - some wobble in the shaft, but it has a decent ratcheting mechanism. Its perfect for occasional DIY use. It is made in China. For less than a tenner its an absolute bargain.

Nice tool to have at home

Comes with mutliple heads. Love the compact size and hence, the portability.

Great screwdriver, very handy for computer assembly and more. No need to buy overpriced branded ones, get this.

Przydatny zestaw, wszystkie elementy w jednym miejscu, łatwe otwieranie i wysuwanie bitów.
