Motherlove Pregnant Belly Salve (4 oz) Moisturizing Balm to Use on Growing Belly—Non-GMO & Organic Herbs

i love this salve. the fragrance is very light and nice. i bought this cream after using a different one that's smell began to annoy me. this one's scent is very lovely. i have been using it for about a month now both morning and night and i am not even halfway through the jar, so it may be a small amount but it goes a long way. i am only 21 weeks pregnant but so far no stretch marks. the itching is not gone but it is lessened and more controled. i love rubbing it on my belly, it is a soothing and calming ritual to do at the end of a long day. i love that it is all natural, i am not a freak when it comes to natural and organic products, but i don't see the point in rubbing synthetic products into your skin when you have the option not to.

I first encounted this product as a sample in a little gift bag from my midwife. I read all the reviews of this product before I purchased and have been very satisfied. I've been using nightly since about 16 weeks - I'm at 28 weeks and have no stretch marks at all, have not experienced any itching that some women describe during pregnancy. It smells and feels great.Some reviews compared it to vaseline. It is a bit greasy, but not nearly so much as vaseline. In the jar it's a semi-solid like vaseline, but when you apply and rub it in with your body heat it turns into an oil almost. It absorbs well, but not as much as a lotion would, so there is some oily residue that's left on your skin. I have noticed oily marks on our sheets after using it - but since my husband and I are the only ones who see the sheets it doesn't really both me. I haven't noticed that the spots remain after the sheets are washed.So there are a few cons if the oily-ness bothers you, but for the price and the results I really like this product and will continue to use it through the rest of my pregnancy... and for any other future pregnancies.

I love this product. I used it with both myPregnancy and I didn’t have any stretch marks. The scent isn’t strong and the consistency is moisturizing and buttery. It’s not sticky. It dries well into your skin. I actually bought it again recently. I’m not pregnant but I bought it bc I had gained and lost it weight .. I started getting a few marks from my skin being dry and from me scratching. I’d figure I’d use it just to keep my tummy area moisturized. But I highly recommend for anyone who is expecting. To see true results though you have to be consistent, put it on in the morning and before bed. Well at least that’s how I did it when I was pregnant.

The media could not be loaded. I really love and am happy with this balm its not sticky and absorbs well into the skin. It does its job well, in my second trimester was experiencing a lot of itching and growth to my body. Using this has calmed down my itchy skin a lot, and still no stretch marks thankfully. I also love the smell its a soothing relaxing scent, so overall very pleased with this product.

I truly enjoy this product! It is very emollient and moisturizes the skin thoroughly. I use it at night and when I wake up I can still my skin moisturized.I took away 1 star because although the pricing is not bad, the jar seems pretty small. I fear I will go through this product too quickly.

This stuff is amazing. I’m on my third pregnancy, never got stretch marks on my belly with the first, but I did get stretch marks with the second. I bought this and started using it early into my third pregnancy and I have zero stretch marks at 36 weeks! How amazing is that? I am no larger than I was during my first or second, I’ve carried all three babies very similar and didn’t gain more weight with any of them. I have used it religiously every single night. I’m on my second jar and about to order my third to finish out this pregnancy. My belly is always hydrated, never itches, and it taking the growth of this third baby like a champ! I attribute a smooth baby belly to this stuff 🥰

Started using this product day one of my pregnancy and I absolutely swear by this product. The scent is subtle for everyday use. I apply and massage into my belly and sides multiple times a day — when I’m winding down, after showers, and whenever I feel my skin is tight. One thing to consider is the product is oil based so you may need to be careful with your clothing items. I’ve gained some oil stains on clothing — so tend to apply when I am planned to be home for a while and can walk around with my sports bra on and belly out. :) For 41 weeks use I used 4 jars total and have some left to use post baby to keep massaging and caring for my skin. One more thing to point out, I gained 40lbs during my pregnancy so I wasn’t small, both of my sisters and mother got stretch marks during their pregnancies - I did not get stretch marks which leads me to believe this product did it’s job with generous application.

I love the ingredients in this product and it absorbed pretty well despite its oiliness. The scent was mild and clean. I really just wish it helped better with the itching. I’m still not sure if it helps with the lightening of the stretch marks yet. I will use the whole jar and see if they get a little lighter.
