The best I've ever bought
It's pretty sad how excited I am about drain snakes but here we are. It was so convenient having different sizes to try right in front of me! Apparently that's been my biggest issue with others I've tried. I got a horrifying amount of hair out of my shower drain that wasn't mine (from the previous tenant). These are awesome! I even saved them because they'll definitely hold up for another use or two

Works!
I've used other plastic snakes and they all broke after one use. These are sturdy and pulls lots of hair out of drains. I've gotten several uses out of just one in the pack so far. Highly recommend.

Handy but tricky
My problem is that they are a bit too aggressive compared with the zip-it. Easy to work into the drain, but hard to remove from the drain. OK if you have a larger drain than I do, I guess.

Effective! Disgustingly effective!
So, I have been sitting with a slow draining shower for an embarrassingly long amount of time (probably several months, if not up to a year ). It's not that it didn't drain at all, just was extremely slow. I got used to taking showers until the tub filled up to be a bath. (I'm the kind of nerd who looked up that a bath generally fills up with 70 gallons of water, while depending on shower head and settings, a shower will usually rain 2.5 gallons per minute. So, just FYI, you can take a little under a 30 minute shower before using more water than a bath.)You see, I am catastrophically lazy. So, after some time, the effort of cleaning the immense level of filth accumulating all the way up the bathtub walls with every shower overcame my natural laziness to do nothing, so I first tried to solve the problem with the lazy man's drain cleaner: Drano.Yes, I read that Drano is bad for pipes. But my laziness justified potential damage....but Drano did *nothing*. Yikes. So, plan one was a failure, and I needed to decide between getting drain snakes or hiring a professional. If there's one thing I am more of than lazy, it is utterly paranoid at being judged by outsiders. And I could not bear the silence judgment of a plumber (much less the risk that said plumber might speak his judgment aloud!)So, I did some research about inexpensive drain snakes and found this.I usually like to read both the high reviews and the low, to get a balanced perspective. I was worried with some 1-star reviews saying the drain snake could break in the pipe, requiring professional assistance anyway....but...overall, there weren't *that* many reviews like that.Today, I took the plunge and I ordered and received the snakes. And they were effective! Disgustingly effective. With very little effort, they go down the pipe and extract clumps of hair and gunk. I made sure to be fairly gentle with it, and the snake was very effective (no need to try to hack or scrape or anything like that.)When I pulled the snake up around the 20th or 30th time with no debris on its hooks, I *did* noticed that there were spots at the hook points where the original green plastic had stressed to white. That was a *little* concerning to me -- stress *could* indicate weakness, so I could see how if someone were rougher, the snake might break in the pipe. Instead, if I had been more cautious, I probably could have afforded to use some of the others that came in the 5-pack rather than using the same one so often -- at this price, it's not too important to reuse over and over.

works well if it fits in your drain
Only the smallest one really fits into my bathroom sink drains, and you only get one. It worked well, but it's so flimsy it wore out and almost broke in half after just two times putting it down the drain ,and I didn't have some crazy bad blockage! This little one is poor quality. The other sizes were much bigger- too big- and much more sturdy,( but the barbs still break easily!) but I can't use them. So I paid 5 bucks for one half-usable, now broken crappy plastic drain snake! I'm mad about it. Now for the good things: I like that they are cleanable if you wipe them down going with the barbs- otherwise you'll stab yourself. So you don't have to throw them away- let's help the planet people. Also the gunk can easily be taken off of the barbs for another go. I also like the minimal , reusable package they came in - no crazy clamshell you have to break into. The two pieces snap together and are easily unsnapped to get in, and you can just put the cleaned snake back in the package for storage. This would be perfect if they were made of quality plastic and if you got three little ones, two medium and one big size.

These things work!!
Wow! There are 5 in this package. I only needed 3 of the sizes (so far). The design unclogged my bathroom sink drain swiftly and thoroughly. The only feature I did not like was how they are packaged. As you can see in the listing, they are curved in a 'U' shape. They stay in that shape, making it a bit hard to send down the drain, pull back up and not have the yuk splatter on everything. I have tried to warm them in the sun to straighten them out. It was not helpful.Suggestion: Either the manufacturer redesigns the packaging or buy from someone else.

Splendid
Removed the hair and clog up from the drain perfectly. Price could be lower to reflect the quality of plastic but did the job.

Works perfect
Every home should have a set of these. Very durable, easy to use and can save people money. The hair that this pulled from my shower was easy to remove and cleanup after. I gifted one to my daughter when she moved out 2 months ago and she’s used it with ease as well. I highly recommend everyone use these often for preventing clogs before they’re more of an issue.
