Robbins Essential Pathology

Book is well written and concise with high quality photos/micrographs.

The ebook access code gives you access to the assessments and case studies on inkling. The book seems to have been rewritten and not just trimmed down. All essential details are concisely laid out. Great for a quick review for MS, or for an in-depth study when combined with the big Rubin. If you are looking for more histology details, add Rosai to the combo!

I rented the ebook version for a semester and so far it’s great! Some people in the reviews said they got denied access to the extra online material on Inkling/ Elsevier. At first it didn’t work for me either but these are the steps I took to get access:1. Open the ebook to the cover page and flip until you see the page with the webpage link to the online access2. Follow the steps and input your Amazon order # and ebook ISBN listed on Amazon but you HAVE TO put in the longer ISBN listed on Amazon and you DO NOT include dashes.3. If it doesn’t work, follow these steps again (I had to do it several times before it let me through!)The ebook itself is great! It’s easy to navigate and includes everything found in the traditional paper version.The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the ebook page numbers on the Kindle do not align with the pages in the actual ebook purchased directly from the publisher so if you’re assigned certain pages to read for school, it can be hard to find which pages correspond to the assignment.

Good photos and summaries

I bought this e-book because it comes with the promise of access to online consult. However, when you try to sign up for the online consult, your ISBN is rejected. Otherwise this book is about the same as other Robbins textbooks. Despite reporting the issue, I have had no response from elsevier. Rather stick to the other Robbins pathology texts out there.

This book came in great condition and was very well packaged. I am a 2nd year medical student and required it for my studies. I love the ability to do practice questions from my phone on an app. Very well written and the images are crystal clear. If you are a medical student or student that just likes pathology, give it a go. This book is great.

It is a little bit on the brief side ,probably very very brief ,that just takes the shine off the study of pathology

I think it's a complete package for undergraduate students... focusing on basic concepts, reinforced by clinical cases and MCQs... fantastic!!! I especially loved that Objectives for case studies have been included... great tool for learners and educators 👍🏽Students worry about completing the course in one year and feel intimidated by the Grandpa Robbins that the main book is called. Basic Robbins and pocket companion is what most fall back on... However Essential Robbins is a game changer being basic and questions rolled into one!Heads and shoulders above all others

It is advertised that online access is available with ebook but when you try to register, Elsevier website returns with reply that your registration cannot be done. Contacted Amazon who say to contact Elsevier, from whom you get no reply. False advertising by Amazon
