Definitely works
Easy to use and definitely works. Gives an early warning of box moth caterpillar.

Definitely better than some of the other products out there
If only I'd have known about these nasty little blighters this time last year!I have (or should I say had) about 30 little box tree bushes around the front and back of the house. Around this time last summer we had an absolute infestation of caterpillars which devastated our bushes. A little bit too late I discovered about box tree moths and caterpillars which have only recently made it to the UK. Alongside spraying with Xentari and picking off several hundred caterpillars I managed to salvage maybe half of our bushes, the others were beyond the point of no return.I've tried various different lures in 3 traps and found this one to be the most effective. It doesn't catch all the moths but it does catch a lot. You just have to be prepared and keep a keen eye on the bushes for any sign of the caterpillars, silky webs, dying leaves, etc. then spray them with Xentari and so far this year we seem to have been able to help the remaining bushes recover. Unfortunately the ones getting the least sunlight are still struggling to recover but others are doing very well. It's a bit of a faff, but with determination, careful monitoring and use of pheromone lures and Xentari I think you can defeat these little blighters. The only negative is that these refills are pretty expensive and you'll need a few each season from here until whenever, but they definitely work well. Maybe in the long run it would be cheaper to just dig out all the box trees and replace with something else but I'm not ready to accept defeat just yet.Would definitely recommend over some of the other lures out there.

The only box moth protection you need!
Don't use anything else! Will defo get rid of box moth if you use it properly and follow the instructions. Expensive but it works and has protected numerous box in my customers gardens. Combine with a moth trap and the relevant pheromone for double protection. Thumbs up!

Box tree moth
Used this in the trap for the moth. Bit fiddley and no moths caught yet.

Catch the infection early
It does work but if you have an infected plant already you are probably to late to save it.

TOPBUXUS Pheromone Lure Refill
Excellent product. Quite expensive, but if you own Buxos plants you need the moth trap and pheromone refills to protect them. The product does the summer season so just an annual purchase. Very pleased with the strengh of the product. Works really well trapping the male Chinese moth.

It does what it says on the tin
We have an infestation of the box tree caterpillar and had a pheromone trap last year to catch the moths but needed some more lure. This is so easy to put into the trap. The instructions couldn't be simpler. You get a syringe which has a measure down the side; put half in the top holder and half in the bottom. The lure is very thick and doesn't run so you don't need to worry about spilling any. put the lids back on the lure holders and hang it. I have it hanging next to a light so that the moths are drawn to it. Hopefully this will help us win the battle this year.
