PERFECT
Wanted a stand for my Dyson v10 animal, instead of hanging it on the wall.Am very happy with this choice! It appears to be very well made, and well designed. It was reasonably easy to assemble. With the vac & all its attachments hanging on it,the stand is quite stable. Plus, it takes up very little space. The price was veryreasonable. If you like this style, I would highly recommend this model. I give thisa 5 star.As a P.S., before buying this, I read a lot of reviews, and noticed one buyer gave this stand avery low rating because it didn't include a docking station. I have 2 Dysons. On bothoccasions, the docking stations came WTH the vac. This particular stand is ONLY a stand, with a base & 4 holders. It doesn't come with a docking station. Read carefully before buying :-))

great solution for v12 storage
I recently got a new v12 and had a hard time organizing all the attachments. This stand does the trick and avoids drilling into the wall which is great. The v12 is orange/not super attractive so I may move where I store it in the future. The stand is made of metal, with some plastic parts (the little hooks for the attachments). The instructions are printed in a small way but easy to understand - one tip is to pay attention to the illustrations as by looking at the number of holes or placement of stuff on the bars you can tell which bar/which direction things should face. Only minor thing was the plastic piece that goes on the bottom was damaged during delivery. However, I installed with the damaged side facing inward so it still looks fine. Wish there was a little more padding for that area of the package but perhaps something happened during shipping that would have damaged it anyway. Not a product defect. Overall, sturdy and good quality which for me is worth the extra money. Love the slim look and portability.

Sturdy and Easy to Assemble
Very nice product. Well designed and easy to put together. Compact for what it does and prevents me from drilling into the wall to store my Dyson V15.The only part of assembly that wasn't smooth was attaching the top and bottom extruded aluminum pieces together. They are connected using a metal plate on each side with two holes in them. One hole didn't line up perfectly with the threaded hole on the extruded piece leading to the bolt being a bit hard to install. Making one of those holes a slot would've prevented the issue.

What Dyson should have included
If Dyson didn’t invent the category of stick vacuums – and they didn’t – they definitely did a lot to popularize them with the V series, most of which look similar but can range in price from just over a hundred to well over five hundred bucks. To me they are in that category of a product you pay a lot more for the name and to support their enormous advertising budgets but in reality they are mostly cheap plastic and questionably any better than all of the lookalikes barking at their heels. And some of those lookalikes can be very nice – I own two of them and both have some features that Dyson could learn a few things from.I almost gave away my V6 which from Day One was cursed with a battery that would give me 6 minutes on low speed and 3 minutes on high speed. But I ran across a no name replacement battery when the original finally died completely and the no name one is a hundred times better – I only charge it about once a week. For that reason I don’t have to keep it plugged in to the wall mounted charging base, which used to work out fine in my old house but now I like to keep the vac in my ensuite bathroom and there is no good place to wall mount it. I often wondered why Dyson didn’t include a floor stand with their vacs. Then one day I ran across this one and was very excited. Being a careful shopper I looked at all of the optionsPOWDER COATED NOT SUGAR COATEDThe first review I read didn’t say a word about how well this thing is made, how functional it was, or if it was a good value – only that there was some black powder in the box. I can’t imagine why that would be a concern, it is very common for better metal products these days to be powder coated instead of being merely painted. Powder coating provides a much harder and more durable finish. It’s normal for some of the excess at the ends to shake free in transit, however there wasn’t even one speck with mine so I can only assume that condition is not normal, likely a sign of bad handling. That doesn’t indicate any kind of defect or plot to infect us with a strange black powder. The cardboard can just be discarded with the rest of the trash without any concerns at all.WEIGHT WEIGHT DON’T TELL MEI will tell you that for something like this a heavily weighted base is a good thing. If you’re not already in the habit you should look for the product details on this page where you will find the weight of an item. This brand was the heaviest of any at almost ten pounds, nearly double one of the other ones. While Dyson vacs are light they do have quite a bit of their weight concentrated at the motor which is mounted at the top of the unit. The heavier the stand the less likely it will tip over. Once I opened it I learned why it is so heavy, unlike the flimsy wire versions being sold for the same price, or the stamped sheetmetal I expected, most of this stand is made of extruded aluminum, an expensive manufacturing process but one that is structurally very strong. In fact every piece surprised me at how meticulously it is made, which I consider to be in the outstanding category – something not too many products earn these days. The base is constructed of heavy steel and I doubt if it would be possible for it to accidentally fall over. The upright arrives in two pieces that are attached to the base with heavy bolts. The two pieces are attached together with a piece of solid steel. I read a comment in which someone said the holes in their product were misdrilled. I see that erroneous comment about products from time to time and for the most part I write them off as being impossible – holes on mass produced items aren’t drilled by some guy one at a time, they are done by robots and are always identical. In this case I discovered the reason some people think they are misdrilled is that the metal connector is asymmetrical, the holes are not on center, all the user has to do is simply flip the connector piece over and the holes line up perfectly.MORE IMPRESSIVE THINGSThe support piece is predrilled for almost every Dyson V series vac, they tell you which ones to use, but you don’t absolutely have to follow their guidelines. For my V6 the vacuum hung a little too high so it wasn’t securely against the support bar on the base. I chose to use the next set of holes down and I like the results. Once you mount the unique charging cradle you can thread the wire inside and down the back, there are even snap in retainers to make sure the wire stays hidden. As you assemble and use this product you can’t help but be impressed by all the various thoughtful design touches like that. There are also four very well made accessory pegs that you can attach to the upright, but you don’t have to do that if you only have the basic brush that interchanges with the rug nozzle. The charging unit has two accessory clips built in to it so I chose not to install the four pegs for a cleaner look.IN USENot a design fault but something worth knowing is that when you use a stand like this you aren’t left with a lot of extra cord between it and the power transformer, about fifteen inches, which means it will have to be located near a wall plug. But as I mentioned I only have to charge my replacement battery about once a week so I store my vac in a place that’s convenient for me and when it’s time to charge it I just plug in an extension cord for that few hours. The stand only takes up about as much space as a hardcover book.FINAL RECOMMENDATIONI looked at almost all of the other storage stands and this one is absolutely the best in every way. Most of the others are made of wire and are nowhere near in the same league in terms of stability, convenience or appearance. It’s easy to be disappointed in how cheaply things are made these days so it is especially appreciated when I find something that’s just the opposite, I would almost tend to call this stand over engineered, it was obviously designed by someone who knows what they’re doing and manufactured with precision and care. It is by far the best value and the class leader of any similar product.

Sturdy and functional
This stand perfectly supports my new Dyson v11 vacuum and holds all of the attachments. The stand is sturdy while still being reasonably slim and attractive in appearance. I managed to assemble it on my own but would have appreciated some written directions in addition to pictures, and the print is very small! When it came to the last step of attaching the wall mount (not included with the stand), I found it helpful to refer to the directions provided with the vacuum.

Dyson V15
Just received by Dyson dock and followed the easy directions and it was a breeze. There is no leaning or wobble when the Dyson v15 vacuum is mounted. Looks good and all parts fit. Would definitely recommend.

Well-thought out, solid stand
I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Quality components packed well in a small box. I believe everything is metal except for the plastic pegs. Assembly was straight-forward. It is quite compact occupying not much more space that it would hanging from the wall. With the two slots on the original dock and the four pegs it neatly holds six accessories. The base also accommodates a second power head. The cord is hidden neatly in the back. Everything is easy to access. The instructions tell you which holes to use to attach the dock for the V6/V7/V8/V11 and cyclone V10. Lifetime warranty. Really well thought out product, Very happy with it!

Top Product
It is relatively expensive but reliable. It is made of very good quality material. The stand doesn't wobble and don't have to worry about it falling over. It conveniently holds our Dyson V11 vacuum with its parts collectively. This also makes it easier to see which accessories require cleaning. Despite the cost I would recommend it to others.

For those who like to see their tools
Useful storage piece! Love the slots to store the accessories in an accessible way and cheaper than the name brand alternative. My unit had more accessories than available slots, but the storage spots on the charging device and the additional storage clip helped. Assembly was straightforward. Seems solid but will revise review if any issues. It’s a sizeable unit so not something that would be very discreet.

Sturdy
very sturdy and nice looking, I have a DC59 and the attachments are too small to fit over the pegs. Other than that, its well designed, I like that is solid with cord management, just makes it look neater
