The color matched my hair perfectly and stayed on until I washed it out. The sponge applicator worked much better than the 'paint brush' style that came with another brand - easier and much faster to apply. One thing to keep in mind, this is powder so the product is not shiny, but rather dull once applied. If your grow-out is 1/2" or less, I absolutely recommend this root coverage. I also like the container that stores the applicator in the bottom and has an attached snap-open lid. I wish there were more product in the container. I would buy this again.

Surprise how well this works! I’ve used sprays, color pens, and powders. This product is by far the best I’ve used to cover gray roots. It’s super easy to use and a little bit goes a long way. It’s also less expensive than other products I’ve tried. I’ll be ordering this from now on! Try it! You won’t regret it.

Definitely effective for in between hair appointments or filling in spots that are more thin, but beware, this stuff comes off on your pillow, as well as your fingers and hands if you touch your hair.

Really does a nice job of touching up roots when it is almost time to touchup roots. The color is a little bit darker than I thought it would be, but it covers well and comes out in washing. Compared to the touch up sprays, this power doesn't change the texture of my hair. I like that this is very temporary/ it last all day and washes out easily. The applicator is a little spongy knob that is magnetically attached to the base. The top of the little pot is easy to open. I have had this stuff for about 4 months now and I use it every day for two weeks prior to a fresh dye job. IT ain't expensive and it works well

This product is great for 2 reasons: 1. It is compact and can be easily carried around 2. It does the job and does cover problem areas well The downsides: 1. It does not stay put - touch anywhere on your head you have placed it and it will stain your fingers and nails. It is on my clothes and pillows. If any area gets wet this product will run everywhere, including onto your face 2. It covers thinning areas and gray areas, but DOES NOT stick to bald spots. I am still having to use Toppik for that. 3. It isn't a lot for your money. Very small amount.

Photos show the results, I'm super happy with this for a last minute fix and will keep it on hand. I didn't have time to dye my gray roots before a night out and bought this in hopes of being able to cover them. It did the job well, lasted all night while dancing. It did not come off on my fingers when touched, although there is a sort of texture you can feel, kind of like you get with some hair sprays, but not a big deal, it looks nice. This will help prolong the time between having to dye my hair too which is great.
