I love the quality of the tiles! The ivory is softer than the bright white and is reminiscent of years gone by. They are a light cream not beige color. They look very rich and are easy to read. I love the two zippered bags -which are handy to store anything I like -including tiles and the book that came with the set. The 2 bags have a split zipper that opens across the top and then down each side -so 3 sides are open making it highly accessible. The 2 Velcro wrap rolls for your tiles and racks work well -there is a slight difference in size, so you’ll need to know which wrap to use for which item. I think the racks could be stronger -they do not appear to be the same high quality as everything else in the set. I am concerned the acrylic will crack over time or in transport. I do like that the pusher-racks easily align to show 19 tiles for your set up. The bag, 2 Velcro wraps and 2 zippered pouches are all quilted and the black and white paisley is attractive. The inside lining of all items is quilted black. There is a convenient inner zipped pocket in the main bag where I store my card and dice. The split zippered bag opens wide across the top so I can easily put in and take out all items. The dice are a nice size. The set has 166 tiles with two boxes of 80 tiles each and 1 shrink wrapped set of 6 extra tiles (4 blank 2 joker). I liked having the box full of tiles, but needed to “store” the 8 extra flower tiles, since we play with only 152 tiles. I took all 8 and placed their faces together and Saran wrapped them and then placed them in the box. This keeps the 80 tiles separated, yet together in the original box -so the tiles don’t slip around and let’s me know when I pack up my tiles after the game that I am not leaving any behind. The carrying straps make it convenient to carry and store on a hook.

This Linda Li American Mah Jongg set is lovely. The bag is well constructed, with a quality zipper and finished seams. The webbed handles should give years of use without tearing.The tiles are a soft ivory color; very soothing on the eyes, and the colors of the tiles' faces are a decent quality. The tiles come in a plastic tray with a (flimsy) cover. They are wrapped (and secured with Velcro). I intend to keep them in the zipper bags of the same fabric.The plastic pushers and racks are all attached. (My old set is plastic and has separate pushers that attach by slipping onto the racks' posts.) I looked at my friend's new set with the wooden racks and pushers that are attached by magnets. They were so weak that, she had to buy tiny magnets in order to make them work. The only possible (future) flaw this new Linda Li set may have could be the attached racks and pushers. They are made of plastic and I wonder if eventually the mechanism will wear down, requiring the purchase of new ones. There is a fabric cloth with Velcro closures for them, just like the tiles. As with all things, if they are treated with care, they will last longer.I could have purchased a less expensive set but, you get what you pay for. Before you buy, read the reviews and look at the percentage of four and five-star ratings. I think that if you want enduring quality and years of play, you'll opt for a Linda Li set.

These Cubes have proven to be a hit and FANTASTIC classroom resource for teaching English to foreign students. Have been using them successfully in 2 rural Indian village schools (where virtually no students could understand, or write in, English when I arrived).Two months ago it was difficult to get the children to identify even 1 picture on the Cubes with its English word. Now they are writing sentences using the pictures. Based on their progress (and in conjunction with simultaneously teaching them basic English Grammar) very soon they will be writing stories!Step1) Give each student in class a CubeStep 2) Get them to identify the pictures on their Cube with English words (repeat this over several classes so they become familiar with most of the pictures English words, they share their word knowledge with each other freely).Step 3) Once they become familiar with most of the pictures (takes about 4-5 class sessions by randomly issuing each student a Cube in each class session) give them each a Cube and get them to write a sentence incorporating just one of the pictures word in the sentence I.e I saw a star. This is a house. I eat the apple. etcStep 4) Next few class sessions get them to write a sentence incorporating at least two of the pictures words. I.e I ate an apple in the house.Step 5) Once they are all competent writing short sentences get them to use their new Grammar knowledge (adjectives, adverbs, articles, conjunctions, prepositions) to improve their sentences I.e I happily ate a shiny red apple inside the new kitchen in the big old house.Step 6) Get then to write a story using as many pictures on the Cube as they can and using their Grammar knowledge. I love this set! It's perfect in every way. (The first one I ordered from somewhere else had to be returned.) The case is high quality, and the smaller velcro-closure cloth cases that hold the pushers and tiles keep the set secure for travel to/from other game sites. The tiles are beautiful and very uniform. I couldn't be more thrilled. Also, it arrived when promised, and the sellers have "checked in" several times to be sure I was satisfied.

I was amazed It was made from bottles it really is so soft not over thick but of quality so yes it is value for money and such a cute face on it 😊👍🏼
