Great product for stashing documentation and emergency cash.
I added this to my 2001 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide and it has been fantastic. I purchased one of those waterproof bags that you can keep your phone or wallet in, and I keep my documents in there with spare cash, and it fits perfectly inside. It comes in handy if you're pulled over, because everything is consolidated in one place and always readily available. So far no indications of water getting in, though I haven't ridden in heavy rain very much.

Great little storage
It provided a great little place to store Registration and Insurance on a motorcycle with absolutely NO storage, not even an under-seat spot...so it worked really well. I will buy it again should I have the need.NOTE: The only issue that resulted is that the license plate was now an inch or so further out and the license plate lights were no longer over it. I ended up adding some additional lighting at the end of the tail light facing down to get some light on the plate - you know, something about legal compliance with a lite plate.

- Nice little 'box' and mostly hidden.
- There may be a couple different ones on the market - but this one works great. I would have liked to see the lock (and hinge) at the top (so IF you have room, you might consider turning this around IMO). Mounted easily. Fits nicely. Has enough capacity for what it was intended for - extra house key?, extra credit card?, copies of insurance and registration info - 'bout it. I'm going to stick some black tape over the chrome lock opening for dust / dirt / mud and to help it NOT stand out as much.

Not bad, not great. Works for what I wanted it to do.
I had zero problems with fitment as far as my plate goes, or mounting it to the bike. This is not a bolt on item, so if you want to buy this understand that it has no pre-existing mounting holes. You have to drill them yourself. Don't buy this and complain with a poor review because you had to spend a few minutes drilling holes in plastic...That said, it is a bit on the cheap side, especially for the price. The plastic is just a little bit too flimsy, and while it does have a lock...it's securing and locking mechanism relies on that same plastic to hold it closed. The lock is not so much a security device as it is a keyed latch to keep it closed and to keep honest people honest. Overall it is not a bad unit. It did make a perfect spot to stash my insurance card and registration slip in for my little enduro bike, but I would not trust this for securing anything of value as you could easily pry this open with a screwdriver. if you wanted to. It also doesn't quite do the best job of sealing out water, but well enough that all I would recommend is to keep said insurance and registration papers in a ziplock baggie.

My documents are now secure.
The box is plastic so someone could break into it if they choose to. But, the lock works well as does the water resistant seal. I still put my documents in a plastic bag inside the box. Installation was easy.

Overall like it!
Had to drill some extra holes to make it fit my bike. Kinda neat to have. It's plastic so not real quality. But it works for whatever you need to put in it, out of sight. I don't think I would put anything of high value in it when riding down the road. I don't believe it would open, because it has a so so locking mechanism but still, it's plastic. Overall like it!

Works great!
I installed this item onto my 2015 Vulcan S. The setup and installation was easy and straightforward. It took me about 20-25 mins. It looks like it came with the bike and does not stand out at all. It holds all my important documents and opens/closes very easily. Just what I needed to keep all my documents consolidated in one place. Good product!

Need to store documents for your bike, this works pretty good.
Put this on my bike today. First off you have to put the lock together onto the box, it does not come assembled. They recommend using thread lock to keep the nut on the back of the lock tight. I had some and put it on. Next, you will need a drill and a 1/4" drill bit to drill 2 holes to mount it on your license plate bracket. It comes with 2 screws and locknuts to mount the box to the bracket. The final step is mounting the license plate to the box. There are 4 screws in the kit for this. No predrilled holes, 4 indentations to use to get the screws started. Be careful not to over tighten these screws and strip them out. It takes a little effort, but worth it to keep your documents with your bike.
