1* for book quality, to GK's words
Though purchased about 3 months ago, I started to read this book about a month ago. I first noticed a blob of glue on the front inside cover and decided to put up with it. A little upset because of the price of the book and who the publisher was because I had expected no problems. I read the book off and on for a few weeks now then the binding started to separated for the cover. I am not hard on books and never lay them opened and face down. Very disappointed in the quality of this hardcover book from Word on Fire.

Just what the Doctor ordered
First let me say I am more than impressed by the quality and aesthetic beauty of the Word on Fire Classics series. I'm equally pleased that Orthodoxy has been included in the series. I read this classic a few years ago, but in my second reading this last month I came to see just how little I had understood on my first reading. I'm sure, when I read it again in the future, I'll have a similar experience. This second reading could not have come at a better time. This spring I completed an Intro to Philosophy course, so I was in a state of overload with the complexity of the historical conversation. Orthodoxy is THE medicine that every student should take after an introductory philosophy course. Chesterton helps the reader remember, if they happen to have forgotten, common sense and wonder.
