ENT Secrets: 9780323298568: Medicine & Health Science Books @ desertcart.com Review: Good for quick points & overviews - Very handy, I appreciated the overview that it gave for all of the topics. It's small, easy to keep in your white coat pocket or bag. Only problem is that I wish they gave a touch more detail for things, but overall very helpful. Review: Excellent resource for MS3 or MS4 ENT rotation! - Excellent resource for the 3rd or 4th year student who wants to get the most out of their 4 week ENT rotation. Easy to find topics in the book, short chapters that cover the most pertinent information, and set up in a q&a format that prepares you for pimping during clinic and in the OR. Highly recommended!

good summary of key concepts
This book is definitely not a comprehensive text, but provides a good summary of key concepts. Requires background study in ENT to be useful, but is short and convenient to review for a sub-i!

Must have for ENT rotations
I am a first-year med student. ENT is pretty niche, so googling something might take longer than looking for it in this book. Also, you can't always ask questions especially if everyone is busy or the question is really basic. This book comes in handy every time I go to the ENT clinic.

A must have for medical student during ENT rotations!
This is a must have for any medical student on an ENT rotation, definitely for a sub-I, you'll be a rockstar if you read through relative sections during a third year elective. The chapters are well written, they are concise, and allow for effective review through questions. Illustrations are very valuable.

Invaluable ENT pocket reference
The book is up to date and remarkably comprehensive. I use it as a practice-reference instead of KJ Lee or Pasha. The presentation is somewhat difference that KJ Lee which is list-like. It has small modules with diagrams, photos, or explanations. If I were preparing for boards, this Review would be invaluable!

I honestly don't understand why this book is so popular. The information in it is really hard to find, and getting through it is just a nightmare. I guess if someone is interested in memorizing answers to questions it would work find, but I highly doubt that anyone can learn (really learn) anything from this book. If you are looking for a good ENT manual, I would suggest Diseases of the Ear Nose and Throat by Dhingra, if however you are looking for something that simply fits in your pocket and can help you say some doctor sounding sentences, then by all means, buy this one.
