Great Caulking Gun for Commercial jobs.

For anyone wondering if it works on windshield urethane like I was, I can confirm that it worked just fine dispensing betaseal U428+HV (high viscosity) without any preheating. Not sure if the motor/gearing will hold up like the M18 does, but it does work. It's lighter than the M18, which was the main reason behind getting the M12, but with a tiny 2.0 battery installed, all the weight is up top so it's not as well balanced in the hand. Might try out the 4.0 battery to see if it makes for a better weight to balance.

This gun works very well, it has a speed/pressure adjuster to help control flow and when you release the trigger it backs the pressure off to minimize drips. So far it has become a huge timesaver for me

This thing works great!! Setting the flow is important! Start on “1” and work up! I’m a bad ass and started at 10 and spent half hour clean up my mess.I love the battery level light. I chalked for several hours and the battery level never moved.Thought it was going to be heavy, but, you have use of both hands all the time so the weight is not a issue.The auto reverse when you let off the trigger is great. NO OVER RUN! You will be surprised when you test the trigger and it goes backward and not forward. That’s a good thing! That’s the way it’s designed. Hit the trigger and release it will reverse, hit the trigger and hold it will feed product as fast as you can move.Great product.

Hi . Your Product was defective from the begining and after 4 mounths using it , it no longer works . We opened the gun andparts of the motor are broken . We only used a few times and i think this tool was re conditioned . However , It is useless now .

It's not the panacea that I had expected. I bought this mid-way through prepping and painting my back wall. I have a super old home that required a lot of prep and a lot of caulking. I assumed that this would pay for itself, so to speak, on that job alone, as far as speed and hand fatigue were concerned. We ended up using a $15 lightweight no-drip version more so than this. This is large and heavier than the traditional guns, obviously. When you pull the trigger it begins moving the "stepper motor" forward, at an adjustable rate, which is nice. When the trigger is released the stepper motor is reversed just a notch to stop the caulk. It does work. But if you start and stop a lot, it's not all that helpful. It slows you down, in fact. If you have long lines to run, this would be suitable and useful. The more intermittent your applications are, IMO, the less useful this is.

Makes caulking an entire house SO much easier. Has an auto pull back feature so the caulk doesn’t keep pumping. Not really necessary if you are just caulking a bathroom, but now that I have it I use it for every caulking job. I bought it because I was residing my house, and went through 20 something tubes just on one side. Saves your hands from cramping up.
