Lactose-Free Whey Milk, 400g

Lactose free milk isn't always available when I try to order groceries for delivery these days. This lactose free powdered milk seemed like a reasonable alternative in times of need, but I had no idea what to expect when I bought it. I typically buy skim milk, but found that this powdered whole milk can be tailored to taste a bit more like skim milk by simply using a little less powder than the instructions call for. I make up a batch in a stainless steel water bottle so I can shake it up (yes, much better when shaken, not stirred) and store it in the fridge. When frosty cold, I'm happy to say that the taste is actually quite good and no lactose issues. Goes great with my cereal in the morning. I'm very pleased with this product and will make sure to have a couple of pouches on hand for backup when fresh lactose free milk is unavailable.

I got this for my son, he has downs syndrome and he is lactose intolerance, you can only fit so many half gallons of milk, in the ice box, and we are 8 miles from town, and this can fit in the anywhere. That was great, the taste is outstanding, the only downfall, was the high carbs . . This is for somebody that is a bodybuilder or need to gain weight ... not for anybody watching their weight, it's to bad, this wont go to waste, my husband is drinking it, now...

I’ve used store bought dry milk before but this product is nothing like it. It tastes like fresh milk and it’s lactose-free as well. It comes as whole milk but with extra water you can make skim if you want to. Just an excellent product, well worth the money. Each package makes a couple of gallons. Thank you Hester Dairy!

I have my 1 and half year old grandson over from time to time and he has to have lactose free milk. I figured id give this a try and he drank it down! I did mix it with refrigerated water first and I found it mixes well. he loves it so that's what matters to me.

I bought this as a shelf stable long lasting milk alternative. I tried it on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. A lactose intolerant family member was able to enjoy it as well. I will be using this for much more than just an emergency supply.
