Nice everyday jewelry.

I gave this chain to my wife who loves simple silver jewelry. The overall chain length is 24". It hangs about 6" down from the bottom of her neck. The cut of the chain gives it an elegant shine and the lobster claw closure works well. The width of the chain is about 4mm. It's not super dainty/delicate but it's also not too chunky. It looks great on her for an understated piece of jewelry. You could easily layer it with other chains to add more style and personality to your look. It's definitely costume jewelry. I can't speak to the quality of the silver but it has worn well so far.

I love the length on this chain; the links are a very attractive cut with a quality lobster claw closure!! I wore it to the mall today and stopped by a jewelry store to have them test it and it IS Sterling Silver, so sad it has any bad reviews because it is a gorgeous chain!! The jeweler guessed it was 10 to 20 dollars MORE than the price listed...so it is a Good Deal as well as being very attractive if you wear Silver Jewelry!!! It is a medium size link and perfectly weighted!!! Thank you!!!!

I own a lot of quality chains, both sterling and gold. I am very familiar with the weight to size of true sterling. This item was way off (too light) and the color off as well. I asked the company for clarification on what this chain is really made of and if solid, plated, etc. They have not responded, and Amazon sent me a note saying there are no answers to my question for this product. I had waited to review it, hoping to be given an answer, which could have allowed me to provide a better review. Basically, this looks like a cheap, costume jewelry chain; not, an average $40 dollar chain. For me, I would spend my $40 on a thinner better quality chain, not on this.

This is a very pretty silver chain necklace. It is quite substantial, and feels a bit weighty around the neck. The clasp seems to be durable (I've made jewelry before, and run into trouble with this at times) and stays in place. The necklace is a nice length for wearing with various necklines. It is larger than other chains I have worn before, and quite striking with its lovely sheen and nicely shaped links. Comes in a handy little black drawstring bag - together with the necklace, a lovely gift. Though this necklace is quite different(bigger, heavier, shinier) from the more plain ones I've worn before, I really like it, and expect it to hold together for a long time.

Oh my, I opened the box, and one look I was in love, it was so thick, shiny, the perfect plain chain, not to big, not to small it is perfect. I put it on amd tried it with a polo...perfect, put it on with a dress, and a shirt it looked fancy, I wore it with a dress, tee shirt, it went with everything.
