Jura Milk System Cleaner for Automated Coffee Centers, 250ml

I have been using this product for 2 years on my Jura Inpressa Z7, and just finished the first bottle. To keep the frother functioning properly, simply finish your routine of Latte's by running plain water through the frother on the milk only selection to rinse everything before it has a chance to dry. This keeps the intake tube and frother parts clean on a daily basis. After several weeks you will notice that the milk is not foaming as much as it should, which is when I get this detergent out and follow the "clean" cycle instructions for another several weeks of great coffee. I also use a small measure cup with marks for how much milk is necessary for one or two Latte's, rather that fuss with the stainless Thermos container that came with the machine, and never let it run dry of milk, push the button again to stop the milk foaming action and it will continue with the coffee. Letting it blow air through while it finishes the milk cycle without any milk will only speed up the buildup of milk protein (it's not fat buildup).

I purchased this to clean my Jura S9 coffee machine. I used it to clean the frother attachment and milk spout. I followed the instructions and let it soak for 10 minutes, when I went to clean the parts all the hardened milk residue just oozed out of every crevice. The frother has since performed great, almost as good as the first day I purchased it. I highly recommend this to clean your coffee attachments.

This cleaning solution for our Jura E8 is a must to keep machine running at peak performance. Easy to use for cleaning and the value for money is very good, when you compare other distributors charge "exorbitant" amount in shipping.

I just got my Jura S8 and will not use anything else to clean the milk frothing system in the machine. This works and is fairly easy to use. I would recommend this for anyone owning a Jura with a milk frothing system.

The cleaner washes out the remaining milk as advertised for my Jura ENA 9 One Touch. However, it takes time to include this step in the clean up when producing cappuccino. There are three clean up approaches suggested in the Jura instruction book, including the automated cappuccino wash, the wash with the Jura Milk System Cleaner, and washing the individual parts of the rubber insert. For the first year and a half, I used the auto cappuccino wash and the wash of the individual parts (#1 and #3). But slowly the amount of milk foam/froth decreased. The support desk suggested new inserts and the Milk System Cleaner. One or both of these brought back the froth, but it takes time to carry out the additional washing. The Milk System Cleaner solution can be prepared while the cappucino is being made. Then after the auto cleaning, three pushes of the rotary starts the cleaning process. When that is completed the Milk System Cleaner solution is replaced with filtered water. I eliminated the washing of the individual parts since the cleaner washes out quite a bit of residual milk. But this all takes time so added to the "one touch" is the one touch of the rotary switch for the auto wash, and 4 touches of the rotary switch for the milk cleaner. But the results are consistently producing Jura's version of cappuccino.

I've had my ENA9 for over 5yrs and use it pretty much every day, so I'm meticulous about keeping it clean. Thing cost me an arm and a leg and I doubt my wife would let me buy another if it broke down. I run the cleaning cycle once a week, decalcify when it says to, but I've only hand-washed the frothing nozzle occasionally when generally cleaning the tray. I have noticed that the frothing quality was hit or miss, but after finally using this cleaner, the difference was huge. More than I expected. I disassembled and soaked all the parts overnight and I couldn't believe how much grime came off. Pretty nasty. After rinsing and reassembling, the unit frothed like new. This will just be part of the regular cleaning process. Totally recommend this stuff.

If you do not keep the frothing mechanism clean, you end up pushing out warm milk rather than frothed milk. i clean the unit as the machine recommends, and frankly if i am having people over, i will give it an extra cleaning just to ensure that when i make cappuccino, it doesn't turn out as a latte.
